Abstract

It is an object of the present invention a windable curtain (1) for a photovoltaic use, comprising a plurality of modules (2) made of a flexible thin film of amorphous silicon, having a single, double and triple bonding; each amorphous silicon module is embedded in a thin film (3) of plastic material; said plurality of modules (2) are bonded by ultrasonic welding, with a sonotrode adapted to melt and bond the two plastic edges which will be overlapped, the thermoplastic material being wider than the amorphous silicon thin film. The modules (2) are bonded to each other by plastic covering materials and along the major side, said plastic material is ETFE (ethylene tetra fluoroethylene). Each silicon module is provided at its ends of a corresponding junction box to connect the terminals exiting the photovoltaic modules and parallelly connect to each other the several modules; a junction box connects the positive terminal, located on the stationary portion of the curtain, while the other junction box connects the negative terminal, located on the movable portion of the curtain.
