Abstract

[Problem] To provide a device (20) for vibrating a stringed instrument (1) so as to enable the stringed instrument to be used as a speaker. [Solution] In order to press a base member (22) having a vibration generator (50) attached thereto against a bridge (13) of a stringed instrument (1) via an action point (24) of a vibration transmission member (26), the base member (22) is provided with a fulcrum member (30), which comes into contact with the upper surface of a string (9) of the stringed instrument (1), and a force point member (38), which comes into contact with the lower surface of the string (9). In order to bias the vibration transmission member (26) toward the bridge (13), a cam mechanism (40) is used to enable the force point member (38) to be pressed against the lower surface of the string (9).
