The present invention relates to an assembling device (1) for manufacturing a panel assembly, which includes at least two tooling systems (2, 3), which both include wooden slat gripping, positioning and securing means, and insulation panel gripping and positioning means, and a tooling controller communicatively coupled to the tooling systems (2, 3), wherein the tooling systems (2, 3) are instructed so that, if the length of a wooden slat (101) exceeds a predetermined threshold, the wooden slat gripping means grip the wooden slat at different parts, and are moved relatively to each other in order to align their centerlines and to correct the straightness (S101) of the wooden slat.

Abstract

The present invention relates to the manufacturing a wood-polymer composite. It is directed to a method for manufacturing such a composite, including the provision of a wood element (1), the impregnation of the wood element with a lactic acid water-based solution (2), and then the thermal treatment of the impregnated wood element (3) at a heating temperature higher than a nominal temperature where the in-situ polymerization of the lactic acid is initiated, in order both to induce the diffusion of the lactic acid water-based solution within the impregnated wood element and to initiate the in-situ polymerization of the lactic acid. According to the invention, the thermal treatment (3) includes the acceleration of the increase of the heating temperature and/or the decreasing of the nominal temperature.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a construction element (10) with superposed wooden structural boards (101, 111). The boards are provided with grooved patterns (R101A, R111B) at the contact interface (I101-111) between the boards in order to prevent the first board (101) and the second board (111) from sliding relative to each other along at least one axis. The construction element (10) further comprises a retention system (30) for retaining the boards (101, 111) against each other at the contact interface (I101-111). According to the present invention, the grooved patterns (R101A, R111B) are pre-pressed against each other and the retention system (30) comprises at least one metal threaded rod component (30.1, 30.2) at least partially passing through at least two of the wooden structural boards (101, 111) at the contact interface (I101-111).
