Abstract

A bath-type pressure-variable capsule comprises: a base (11) into which hot water can be introduced with a user sitting thereon; a lid body (12) which is capable of opening/closing with respect to the base; an annular seal (13) which creates a seal between the base (11) and the lid body (12); a locking mechanism (2) which locks the base (11) and the lid body (12); a pressure adjustment mechanism which changes the pressure of a chamber (R) formed inside the base (11) and the lid body (12) in a state where the base (11) and the lid body (12) are locked with the locking mechanism (2); and a control unit which controls the operations of at least the locking mechanism (2) and the pressure adjustment mechanism. In a state in which the annular seal (13) has been compressed by the control unit operating the pressure adjustment mechanism to reduce pressure in the chamber (R), the control unit operates the locking mechanism (2) to lock the base (11) and the lid body (12) in a sealed state.

Abstract

A highland training capsule is provided having a small size and at a reduced cost. The highland training capsule comprises: an exercise chamber that can accommodate therein a user and exercise equipment; a pump that exhausts air from the exercise chamber; an opening adjustment valve that communicates between the interior of the exercise chamber and the outside, and can adjust the degree of opening; a pressure sensor that detects the pressure inside the exercise chamber; a gas sensor that detects the gas composition of the exercise chamber; and a control unit that controls the pressure inside the exercise chamber to a prescribed negative pressure range, the control unit controlling the exhaust amount of the exhaust pump and the opening of the opening adjustment valve so that the gas composition acquired from the gas sensor reach a prescribed ratio.

Abstract

Provided is a simple pressure regulation room which offers a high degree of freedom of pressure regulation, and which can be used comfortably by the user. The room is provided with a chamber capable of accommodating the user in the interior, and a door separating the inside and the outside of the chamber, and is provided with a pressure regulation mechanism which has a plurality of three-way valves for switching the state of communication between the inside and the outside of the chamber, a pressure regulation valve having a variable degree of opening, and a pump situated between one of the three-way valves and another of the three-way valves, and which is switchable between a state of changing the pressure of the air inside the chamber, and a state of maintaining a constant pressure.
