Abstract

A boresight device used in an alignment process in which the optical or electro-optical sighting system of a firearm is brought into correlation with the centerline axis of the firearm's muzzle. The boresight device includes a rotating camera and a camera carrier which somprises a tightening arrangement including a lever handle operable by a user between a securing position and a releasing position and coupled mechanically to at least one tightening cam. The camera carrier is connected to a firearm barrel, or removably attachable to the firearm.
