Abstract

The invention relates to a device for controlling the projection and/or the return in a plane of a roller shade apron, which is rolled/unrolled by means of a drive means, the apron being guided on either side by a slider, the lower portion (6a1) of which is hinged to a fixed upper portion and can be spaced apart from the plane of the opening associated with the blind, when projection is desired, each lower portion (6a1) of the slider being connected to a fixed portion of a frame or wall by a retractable projection arm (9a) which is hinged, at one end, onto said fixed portion, wherein said device is one in which the force developed while the apron is being rolled up is used to close and lock the projection, and the force developed while the apron is being rolled up is used to unroll and open the projection, and, when the projection is in the open position, after the blind has been lowered to the lower position thereof, the operator can handle the blind as desired.
