Abstract

A charcoal making apparatus including a charcoal making furnace, a flue gas device, and a passage connecting the charcoal making furnace and the flue gas device to each other. The charcoal making furnace includes a base and a charcoal making unit mounted on the base. The charcoal making unit includes a first portion that houses a charcoal making target and is open at an upper surface, a second portion located above the base and below the first portion, and a lid covering at least the upper surface of the first portion. A boundary between the first portion and the second portion is at least partially made of a mesh. The charcoal making unit includes at least two openings each allowing inside and outside of the charcoal making unit to communicate with each other, and at least one of the openings communicates with the passage.

Abstract

Provided is a charcoal making apparatus provided with a charcoal making furnace, a smoke exhausting apparatus and a passage that connects the charcoal making furnace to the smoke exhausting apparatus. The charcoal making furnace includes a base and a charcoal making unit provided on the base. The charcoal making unit includes a first part in which a charcoal making target material is accommodated and of which the upper surface is opened, a second part which is provided on the base and below the first part, and a lid part which covers at least the upper surface of the first part. At least a portion of the interface part between the first part and the second part is composed of a mesh. In the charcoal making unit, at least two opening parts that make the inside of the charcoal making unit and the outside of the charcoal making unit communicate with each other, and at least one of the opening parts is communicated with the passage.

Abstract

A charcoal-making furnace for carbonizing a raw material to produce charcoal, wherein the charcoal-making furnace comprises: a raw material combustion unit including a bottom wall and side walls that rise and extend from the peripheral edges of the bottom wall, the raw material combustion unit combusting a raw material therein to carbonize the raw material; a gas inflow unit that is a pipeline arranged on the bottom wall or embedded in the bottom wall; and a chimney that is tubular and that includes a region extending upward, the chimney being such that an opening provided on one end side communicates with the gas inflow unit and the other end side is exposed to the outside of the charcoal-making furnace, the aforementioned side walls being a combination of a plurality of panels that can be fixed to each other.

Abstract

A charcoal-making furnace (1) includes a feed combustion part (2), a wall part (3), a smoke stack (5), and a heat exchanger (4). The smoke stack (5) includes a tubular region that extends upward, has on one end an opening (501) that communicates with a gas inflow chamber (S), has the other end exposed outside the charcoal-making furnace, and exhausts gas flowed in from the gas inflow chamber (S) from the other end. The heat exchanger (4) is arranged inside the smoke stack (5) and/or the gas inflow chamber (S), and captures the heat of the gas. A storage part (6) for storing liquid that is generated inside the smoke stack (5) due to impurity components in the gas is provided downstream of the heat exchanger (4) in the gas exhaust direction.
