Abstract

The invention can be used in the production of prestressed reinforcement. The problem of interest consists in developing a reinforcing cable having an increased degree of bonding, said cable having guaranteed structural stability and providing an increased degree of bonding with concrete, durability, and stress relaxation resistance. In a reinforcing cable, a central wire (1) is disposed along the axis of the cable, and is configured with spiral grooves (2) having a pitch that is equal to the pitch of the lay of the cable. Strand wires of an inner layer are disposed within the grooves, each of said wires being in contact with the central wire and with two adjacent wires of the inner layer. Strand wires are helically arranged at equal intervals from one another in an outer layer, each of said wires being disposed in a groove between the strand wires of the inner layer, and being in contact with the latter.

Abstract

The invention can be used in producing prestressed reinforcement for reinforcing items made of concrete and provides maximally strong adhesion to concrete in any potentially possible direction of displacement, and a high level of specific strength, relaxation resistance and fatigue resistance. In a reinforcement wire having a spiral profile, three ruled surfaces, separated from one another by sections of a cylindrical surface, are applied to the surface of the wire along a spiral line. Trapezoidal projections are arranged on the ruled surfaces at an incline in a direction counter to the direction of the spiral line along which the ruled surfaces themselves are arranged.

Abstract

The invention can be used in the production of a pretensioned and embedded wire cable reinforcement. The reinforced cable consists of a central wire (1) and, arranged spirally around the latter, entwined wires (2) of an internal layer and entwined wires (4) of an external layer, each of which wires has a surface section which is part of the external surface of the cable. The distance between the surfaces of the entwined wires of the external layer (4) is a minimum of half of the radial sectional size thereof, wherein spiral faces (5) which are continuous in length are formed on surface sections, which face one another, of adjacent wires, and the surface section of each of the entwined wires of the external layer (4), which section is part of the external surface of the cable, has at least one compressed part (6) which is continuous along the entire length of the above-mentioned wires. A method for manufacturing such a cable is also presented, the method consisting of stages in which wires of circular section are manufactured, the wires are twisted with the aid of a wire cable closing machine with a rotating rotor, plastic compression of the twisted cable is carried out by deformation of the entwined wires in at least one gauge roller rotating relative to the axis of the cable, and the compressed cable is subjected to thermo-mechanical treatment. The durability of a cable is substantially increased, while simultaneously ensuring high adhesion to concrete in the longitudinal direction and in the screwing-in direction.
