Provided is an underlay with which handwriting defects can be improved and handwriting learning ability can be enhanced. This underlay comprises: a plastic substrate 1; and a plurality of protrusions 2 which are formed close together in an equal interval dot pattern on at least one surface of the substrate 1. The plurality of protrusions 2 are formed at intervals and with a height that allows a writing instrument to scan therethrough. The plurality of protrusions 2 are formed on the substrate 1 by thick raised printing. The plurality of protrusions 2 are arranged in an equilateral triangle-shaped mesh-like dense array. The plurality of protrusions 2 are formed inward on the substrate 1 excluding an outer peripheral edge 1a. Each protrusion 2 is formed in a truncated cone shape.

Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a character sheet and a character sheet set in which: recognition of the characters through visual sensation and the like and recognition or stimulation through tactile sensation with the fingertip are imparted at the same time by raising the outlines of characters printed on a substrate and by tracing the outlines with a finger; the characters and the like can be written inside the outlines due to the presence of the outlines; and the brain of a user is activated by imparting stimulation to the fingertips through a writing implement, and an effect of learning the characters and the like and an effect of rehabilitating handicapped children and disabled persons with neurological, intellectual, or other disabilities can be improved. In order to achieve this purpose, this character sheet is characterized by having: a printing layer obtained by printing an outline of at least any of a character, a symbol, or a figure on the substrate comprising at least any of paper, a wooden board, a resin, or a fiber; and a raised layer that is formed on the printing layer, wherein the printing layer is formed on at least one among the front surface and the rear surface of the substrate.

[Problem] To make it possible to easily manufacture printed matter, the printed surface of which looks like leather, using raised printing without using special paper or base material. [Solution] A printed matter manufacturing method comprising a process for forming a printed layer (320) of a specified pattern using ink on a base material (310) obtained from paper or a base material equivalent thereto, a process for sprinkling a resin powder on the base material (310) before the printed layer (320) dries, a process for removing the resin powder present on areas other than the printed layer (320), a process for forming a resin layer (330) by heating the resin powder adhering on the printed layer (310), and a process for cooling the resin layer (330). The printed matter manufacturing method is characterized in that for the base material, printed layer and resin layer: the printed layer and resin layer are transparent and the base material has color (including black and white); the resin layer is transparent and the base material and the printed layer have color (including black and white); or the printed layer is transparent and the base material and the resin layer have color (including black and white).
