Abstract

The invention relates to an overhead door which comprises a leaf (1) and means for controlling the opening and closing, arranged to move the lower edge (12) of the leaf in a vertical closing plane and to move the upper edge (11) of the leaf in a horizontal or oblique opening plane. The control means comprise flexible force-transmission links (2, 3, 4) arranged in a horizontal circuit and a vertical circuit, one being a master circuit and the other a slave circuit, the horizontal circuit being located in the opening plane and connected to the upper edge (11) of the leaf, and the vertical circuit being located in the closing plane and connected to the lower edge of the leaf, a motor means (5) being arranged to drive the travelling of the master circuit, and the two circuits being connected by a transversely movable slide (6), preferably located in an area above the door, wherein the two circuits comprise parallel segments, the slide having link-return elements arranged such that a provoked movement of the one or more links (3, 4) of one of the two circuits causes an asynchronous simultaneous movement of the one or more links (2) of the other circuit by automatically distributing the forces exerted by the links respectively on the upper edge and on the lower edge of the door.

Abstract

The pocket-type opening panel with several panels (11,12) hinged to each other according to horizontal articulation axes comprise an upper panel (11) hinged according to an upper axis (A1) to a fixed frame (2), and a lower panel (12) pivoting according to a lower horizontal axis (A3) located at the lower edge (121) of same and guided in a vertical direction. Control means for controlling opening and closing are arranged to move the lower edge of the lower panel in the vertical direction, at least one of the panels comprising, on each side, a control arm (112, 122) rigidly linked to the panel and extending from said panel in a direction transverse to the general plane of the opening panel, and said control means, comprising, for example, a motorised carriage (40) that can be moved along a rack (31), are arranged to act on said control arms, at a predefined distance from said general plane, so as to exert a pivoting torque on the panel or panels carrying said control arms, in addition to moving the lower edge of the lower panel.
