Abstract
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a speed reducer having excellent characteristics of absorbing an impact force. This speed reducer is characterized by comprising: a worm (25) to which the rotating shaft of a motor (22) is connected; an output gear (26) meshing directly, or through an intermediate gear, with the worm (25); a power transmission body (35) having a base (36, 39) having an engagement hole formed at the center thereof, the power transmission body (35) also having a plurality of spring pieces (41) which are provided along the outer periphery of the base (36, 39) and which serve as dampers, the spring pieces (41) being formed by bending band-shaped bodies so that crests and troughs are continuously alternated, the power transmission body (35) further having a fitting section (42) which is one of the troughs of the spring pieces (41) and into which a protrusion (31) of the output gear (26) fits, the entire power transmission body (35) being formed integrally from a synthetic resin, the power transmission body (35) being configured so that the protrusion (31) of the output gear (26) fits into the fitting section (42), allowing the power transmission body (35) to be received into a recess (30) in the output gear (26); and an output shaft (28) engaging with the engagement hole (37) in the base (36) of the power transmission body (35).

Abstract
Provided are a speed reducer and a speed reducer-equipped motor, which each have a reliable locking function. A speed reducer-equipped motor (1) comprises a motor (2) and a speed reducer (3). The speed reducer (3) is provided with: a first gear (12) connected through a gear shaft (12a) to the rotating shaft of the motor (2); an engagement protrusion (18) provided to the gear shaft (12a) of the first gear (12); a second gear (14A) meshing with the first gear (12) to perform a first-stage speed reduction in cooperation with the first gear (12); a pinion gear (14B) affixed to the second gear (14A) so as to be coaxial therewith; an output gear (15) having an output shaft (16) and meshing with the pinion gear (14B) to perform a second-stage speed reduction in cooperation with the pinion gear (14B); a locking pawl (19) capable of locking the rotation of the first gear (12) by engaging with the engagement protrusion (18); and an electromagnetic solenoid device (20) for causing the locking pawl (19) to pivot.

Abstract
The purpose of the present invention is to address the problem of providing a speed reducer having a reliable locking function. The rotation restriction mechanism (17) of a speed reducer (3) is provided with: a first lever (24) having a locking pawl (26) engaging with a locking gear (14C); a first pressing member (27) for pressing the first lever (24) in the direction in which the locking pawl (26) engages with the locking gear (14C); a second lever (36) having a hook (38) which engages with the engagement section (28) of the first lever (24) to prevent the first lever (24) from pivoting; a second pressing member (39) for pressing the second lever (36) in the direction in which the hook (38) engages with the engagement section (28); a third lever (42) which has a pressing section (44) coming in contact with the section (40) to be pressed of the second lever (36) and which presses the section (40) to be pressed, thereby pivoting the second lever (36) in the direction in which the hook (38) is disengaged from the engagement section (28); and an electromagnetic solenoid (30) provided with a plunger (31) having a pin (32) which engages with the first lever (24) through a long hole (33) and which engages with the third lever (42).

Abstract
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a reduction gear-equipped motor capable of achieving weight reduction and cost reduction. Provided as a solution to this problem is a reduction gear-equipped motor (1) that is equipped with a reduction gear (3) that reduces the speed of the rotation of a motor (2) and outputs the rotation from an output shaft (16), wherein an output gear (15) comprises: a gear body (50) made from a synthetic resin, such that gear teeth (53) are formed on the outer wall, a recessed part (54) is formed on one side face, and a plurality of projections (55) are formed on the inner wall of the recessed part (54); and a power transmission body (52) that has a ring part (58), into the outer wall of which a plurality of grooves (62) are recessed, a fitting part (59), which is disposed at the center of the ring part (58) and into the inner wall of which an engaging part (64) of the output shaft (16) fits, and a damper part (61), which has a plurality of damper pieces (60) connecting the inner wall of the ring part (58) to the outer wall of the fitting part (59), said power transmission body (52) being entirely formed integrally from a synthetic resin, and being housed in the recessed part (54) of the gear body (50) such that the projections (55) are inserted into the grooves (62).

Abstract
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a speed reducer-equipped motor unit which can provide required output torque using a compact motor and which has a locking function. A speed reducer-equipped motor unit (1) is provided with a motor (2) and a speed reducer (3) which reduces the speed of the motor (2) and outputs the reduced speed from an output shaft (16). The speed reducer (3) is provided with: a gear case (11); a worm (12) comprising two or three worm gear threads and connected to the rotating shaft (21) of the motor (2); a worm wheel (14A) meshing with the worm (12); a pinion gear (14B) and a locking gear (14C), which are affixed to the worm wheel (14A) so as to be coaxial therewith; an output gear (15) having the output shaft (16) and meshing with the pinion gear (14B); and a rotation restriction mechanism (17) disposed within the gear case (11) so as to be capable of engaging with and disengaging from the locking gear (14C) and restricting the rotation of the locking gear (14C) by engaging therewith. The speed reducer-equipped motor unit (1) is characterized in that transmission efficiency is set to be 60% or higher.
