A modularly-assembled electric toy car with a simple structure comprises a front wheel module (1), a power module (2), and a rear wheel module (3). Two ends of the power module (2) are butted with the front wheel module (1) and the rear wheel module (3) separately to be assembled into a toy car. The front end and/or rear end of the power module (2) are/is provided with a power connection portion(s) (20). A drive mechanism(s) is/are provided in the front wheel module (1) and/or the rear wheel module (3). The upper part of the auxiliary spinning top is provided with an elastic mechanism, and the main spinning top, flexibly connected onto the top of the auxiliary spinning top, is capable of disconnecting from the auxiliary spinning top and ejecting away via the elastic mechanism when hindered during rotation so that the main spinning top and the auxiliary spinning top rotate independently of each other.
