Abstract
The present invention addresses the problem of detecting an angle of rotation of a rotating wheel accurately. A Ferris wheel (A1) is provided with: a plurality of cars; a rotating wheel supporting the plurality of cars; a supporting body rotatably supporting the rotating wheel; a plurality of light emitters; a control device (7); and a camera (61). The plurality of light emitters include, for example, a plurality of first LED light emitters (51) and a plurality of second LED light emitters (52). The plurality of light emitters are provided on the rotating wheel to perform a display. The camera (61) images at least a portion of a Ferris wheel main body when the rotating wheel (1) is rotating. The control device (7) detects the rotational position of the rotating wheel using a captured image obtained from the imaging by the camera (61). Furthermore, the control device (7) controls the plurality of light emitters in accordance with the detected rotational position in such a way that the display by the plurality of light emitters is constant, even while the rotating wheel is rotating.
