Abstract
A customized lingual orthodontic bracket and a manufacturing method thereof, the lingual orthodontic bracket comprising a bracket body (10) in a ball coronary shape jointly defined by a teeth-facing surface and a tongue-facing surface. The middle area of the tongue-facing surface of the bracket body (10) has a recessed part (11), and an upper limb (12), a lower limb (13) and a groove (14) are provided inside the recessed part (11), the tongue-facing surface of the bracket body retaining a circular profile with the external surface of the upper limb (12) and the lower limp (13). The manufacturing method of the bracket is to establish a virtual bracket body (10) in a computer and to set a center line (40) of the groove (14), acquire a tooth arrangement model of an ideal dentition and to determine a virtual placement position of the groove (14), match the center line (40) of the groove with the virtual placement position of the groove (14), rotate the bracket body (10) to adjust position and thickness about the center line (40), and finally, cut out the groove (14) along the center line (40), and print via 3D to generate a real bracket. The tongue-facing surface of the whole bracket body (10) is manufactured as an arc shape, dramatically reducing stimulation to the tongue and increasing comfort for a patient.

Using this personalized lingual self-locking orthodontic appliance, the several bracket bodies (2) are connected in series through an arch wire, and the base plates (1) at the bottom of the bracket bodies (2) are made of a flexible metal, and during the series connection process, the self-locking of positions of each bracket body relative to the arch wire is realized by locking the lock covers (3) in the locking slots (21). The position of each bracket body of this self-locking orthodontic appliance has a better flexibility, which can effectively improve the comfort of a patient and is also convenient for doctors during clinical operations.

Abstract
A lingual straight wire dental appliance is provided. Brackets (1) of anterior teeth and brackets (2) of posterior teeth, which are attached on the lingual side of anterior teeth and the lingual side of posterior teeth respectively, are made with surfaces coinciding with anatomical surfaces of lingual side of teeth of a patient so that the brackets are fixed more stably. Meanwhile, an arch wire (3) of anterior teeth is configured with a curved shape and an arch wire (4) of posterior teeth is configured as a straight arch wire to facilitate the teeth to move during growth. Abstract
A method for manufacturing a positioning tray and a bracket with a positioning hook for manufacturing the positioning tray. The method for manufacturing the positioning tray comprises the following steps: acquiring an original dental impression and an ideal dental impression; transforming the ideal dental impression to a three-dimensional digital model and drawing each bracket body; drawing a positioning hook on the bracket body; making a wax pattern of a bracket with the positioning hook by using a wax pattern machine; casting, with the wax pattern as a mould core, a blank of the bracket with the positioning hook which then receives surface treatment; after the surface treatment, assembling the bracket with the positioning hook to the original dental impression and performing film lamination to obtain a positioning tray, and finally removing the positioning hook to obtain the bracket matching the positioning tray. The bracket with the positioning hook is manufactured for implementing the method. It is unnecessary to make an integrated model of the bracket and dental impression, which greatly reduces the production cost. Moreover, a finished appliance can be obtained after cutting off the positioning hook, and it is unnecessary to cast a separate bracket additionally, thereby saving costs and shortening the production cycle.
