Abstract

The invention relates to a time measurement apparatus (100) having a transport means (120) for a liquid, at least one sensor and at least one display means which is at least communicatively connected to the sensor, is optically freely accessible and is intended to display a contact duration of the time measurement apparatus (100) with the liquid or an item of meta information derived from the contact duration. The transport means (120) comprises at least one reservoir region (121) for receiving liquid from an environment of the time measurement apparatus (100) through an entrance area (124), at least one detection region (122) for detecting the liquid and at least one time region (123) having a number of channels (125) for transporting the liquid from the reservoir region (121) to the detection region (122) in a defined transport duration. The sensor is designed to detect the liquid in the detection region (122) at an end of the time region (123) which is remote from the reservoir region (121). The transport means (120) comprises a combined system having an inner region (126) for transporting the liquid and a moisture-repellent outer region (140), wherein the outer region (140) encloses the inner region (126) on a front surface (130) of the transport means (120), on a rear surface (131) of the transport means (120) which is opposite the front surface (130), on a right-hand side edge (132) of the transport means (120) and on a left-hand side edge (133) of the transport means (120) which is opposite the right-hand side edge (132), in each case at least in a section adjoining a lower edge (135) for immersion in the liquid, and wherein the inner region (126) is freely accessible, at least in sections, on the lower edge (135) and on an upper edge (134) of the transport means (120) which is opposite the lower edge (135).
