Abstract

A device for vaporizing oxalic acid is described comprising a container (16) receiving oxalic acid to be vaporized, heating means (13) of the container (16), a removable cap (5) or a dispenser for containing oxalic acid in the solid state, a 10 first duct (11) passing through a base wall (12) of the container (16), a diffuser tube (2) connected to the first duct (11) to allow vaporized oxalic acid to escape from the container (16) towards the hive, a second through-duct (14) which passes 15 through the side wall (18) of the container (16) which does not intersect the first duct (11), and a passage tube (34) having a first end inserted into the second through-duct (14) and a second end inserted into the first duct (11) for the escape of 20 the oxalic acid vapour from the container (16) towards the hive through the diffusion tube (2).

Abstract

An electric device (20) is described for vaporizing oxalic acid, comprising a container (1) adapted to contain oxalic acid to be heated, a heater (4) and a temperature-sensitive element (2) connected to the container (1), the heater (4) and temperature- sensitive element (2) being further electrically connected to a controlling and regulating device (10) configured for connecting the heater (4) to a power supply to keep the temperature of the container (1) at a pre-established value, the temperature-sensitive element (2) being configured for modifying the electric supply of the heater (4) through the controlling and regulating device (10) when a pre-set temperature is reached.
