Abstract

The invention relates to a method for displaying the time and the calendar date on a rectangular coordinate field (1), the first axis (2) of which indicates the time in minutes and the calendar date in days and the second axis (3) of which indicates the time in hours and the date in months. The invention also relates to a display device (100) with a timer (72), a control (7) and memory unit (71), and a display surface (1) in the form of a rectangular coordinate field, the first axis (2) of which is divided into sixty sections of equal size for indicating the minutes in a minute chart (21) and for indicating the calendar days in a calendar day chart (22) and the second axis (3) of which is divided into twelve sections of equal size for indicating the hours in an hour chart (31) and for indicating the months in a month chart (32).
