Abstract
The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and concerns reduction gears capable of changing gear ratio (mechanical stepped change-speed gearboxes). The aim of the invention is to provide the possibility of changing the gear ratio without power loss, and also to reduce impulse loads on the structural components, thus increasing the operating life of the change-speed gearbox and enhancing the reliability and durability thereof. The proposed mechanism is capable of operating smoothly with high reliability and durability, and the change of gear ratio takes place without power loss. As a result, the inevitable wear on the contact surfaces in each brake assembly is compensated for, and the force of the compressed elastic power link remains approximately the same during the entire time that the proposed reduction gear is in use.

Abstract
The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to mechanisms for transmitting rotational movement. The mechanism comprises a body in which a drive shaft, a driven shaft and a control mechanism are mounted. An eccentric mechanism with a shaft is mounted on the drive shaft. An intermediate link and freewheeling mechanism having annular input and output links are mounted rotatably on the shaft of the eccentric mechanism. The intermediate link is kinematically connected to the driven shaft so as to be able to transmit rotational movement. The input links of the freewheeling mechanisms are connected to the intermediate link while the output links are connected to the mechanism body with the aid of hinged connecting rods and hinges. Each hinged connecting rod comprises two rings and is mechanically connected to a central hinge, the body of which is connected to the output link of the freewheeling mechanism and to a body hinge which is arranged on the mechanism body, the body of which body hinge is connected to the mechanism body. The invention ensures an improvement in the uniformity of operation of the mechanism, an increase in the reliability thereof, and in the service life, and a reduction in the pulsed loads on the elements thereof.
