Abstract
Energy storage device based on a combination of two types of energy storage: gravity potential energy storage and storage by elastic potential energy stored in the springs. The system consists of a deep reservoir (1) filled with water, in which a heavy piston (2) is placed. The piston divides the reservoir (1) into two chambers, (3) and (4) which are linked by an inner duct (5). The latter passes through a reversible turbine pump (7) placed inside the piston (2). Two spring packs (10) are placed on either side of the piston (2). The lower pack consists of tension springs while the upper pack consists of compression springs (10). Excess energy generated by the renewable sources is used to compress the compression springs (10) and extend the tension springs (11) during the movement of the piston caused by water pumping. In the event of an energy requirement, the descent of the piston in addition to the elastic potential energy stored in the springs is used to press the water and operate the turbine-generator which supplies energy to the consumers.
The present invention relates to an endodontic instrument, in particular an improved dental file or drill of the mechanized type, making it possible to overcome the problem of the instrument fracturing inside the root cavity, facilitating the extraction of the broken part by means of an extraction wire. This wire, being accommodated inside the instrument along its central axis, makes it possible to ensure the attachment of the broken part of the instrument and permits its manual extraction by the user in a simple, reliable, effective and efficient manner.
The invention relates to a gravitational energy storage system using compressed air, which is based on a combination of two types of storage, namely gravity storage and compressed-air storage. The system is made up of a water container linked to a cylindrical structure in which a heavy piston is positioned, a reversible pump-turbine for pumping the water, raising the piston and thus storing the energy in a gravitational potential form, and an air compressor linked to a pressurized container for storing the energy in the compressed air while the piston is being raised. This system makes it possible to increase the energy storage capacity of the existing gravitational storage system.
The invention relates to a method combining data-engineering and machine-learning techniques in order to study the effect of the presence of a police officer on driving behavior. The invention consists in using data resulting from crowdsourcing reporting the presence of a monitoring mechanism of any kind (radar, monitoring point) using web-scraping and data-filtering techniques in order to obtain GPS coordinates of these locations, and also to road navigation platforms for obtaining information describing the types of road for which the points are obtained, and the corresponding average speeds. Thus, and for each monitored point, we apply a search mechanism to an adjacent location (to within 500 meters) that is not monitored, and which shares the same features. We thus study the distribution of the deviation of the average speeds between each pair of points.
The present invention relates to a method for deploying a new firewall security for computer networks in order to attenuate the various risks of a current policy. The procedure involves updating an initial security policy (I) on the basis of an algorithm that automates this procedure and minimizes the inherent security risks at the time a new security policy (T) is deployed. This is achieved by creating an intermediate policy (R) that progressively receives the new rules (T) to be implemented and in a specific order. The deployment procedure according to the invention comes to an end when the policy (R) is equal to the target policy (T).

The present invention relates to an intelligent system for immediate detection and notification of defects in electrical signal quality, and is characterised by: • a system comprising input connectors for electrical cables, an electromagnetic adapter, a processing unit and a wireless transmission system. • The electromagnetic adapter adapts, without alteration, the input voltage to the input voltage of the processing unit. • The processing unit manages the execution and storage of the results of the preprocessing of the electrical signal and the classification model. • The preprocessing of the electrical signal makes it possible to convert it into an image in which the time representation and the frequency representation of the signal overlap one another. • The classification model takes the image to identify the existence of defects using a deep learning architecture based on a multi-label classification. This system makes it possible to detect a plurality of single defects or a combination of defects in the electrical signals in an immediate, intelligent and intuitive manner. This product is based on an artificial intelligence method, in particular a deep learning method, which applies the concept that a visual inspection by a person of the time and frequency domain of the signal enables the identification of a defect or defects.

MICRO-VIBRATOR SYSTEM INCORPORATED INTO PLASTER CASTS
The invention relates to a micro-vibrator system incorporated into plaster casts in order to prevent the damage caused by a patient, suffering from a broken leg that has been operated on, putting weight on that leg. The patient, through negligence or oversight, puts weight on their injured leg and causes collateral damage, namely causes the internal screwed plate to deform. This invention allows a patient who has been operated on to avoid putting pressure on their operated-on leg, by means of a micro-vibrator alert. The invention relates to a system made up of two parts: • a medical sole made of silicone containing a micro vibrator bonded directly to the (highly sensitive) sole of the foot which will be surrounded with plaster, or attached to the skin of the leg by a hook and loop fastener • a metal soleplate fixed to the outside of the plaster cast and superposed with the internal sole, this soleplate containing two metal push-button switches, one on the front of the foot and one at the rear of the foot. In the event of error, as soon as the front of the foot or the rear of the foot is in contact with the ground, one of the switches activates the micro-vibrator and the patient will then stop putting load through the floor in order to avoid inexorable damage.

REFRIGERATION SYSTEM BASED ON THE MAGNETOCALORIC EFFECT
The invention consists in providing a new magnetic refrigeration system operating on the basis of the rotating or anisotropic magnetocaloric effect (MCE). In this system, the regenerator (refrigerant) consists of orientated magnetocaloric single crystals or of textured magnetocaloric materials. The hybrid motor vehicle air conditioning system uses the thermal energy generated at the brake during the braking phase, and transmits the heat to the refrigerant, thus creating pressure in the refrigeration circuit. Thus, a low-consumption compressor is used. Exchange of heat by convection, between the water and the braking system, allows the latter to lose its heat to the water. The hot water can then serve to raise the temperature of the refrigerant by exchange of heat. The system consists of the compressor, hot water reservoir with coil, condenser, expander and evaporator. Pump, water piping, controller and brake block form the extra circuit.

The Rotor-Rotor wind turbine is a system having a wind generator that is more efficient than existing systems, owing to an innovative system that allows the armature (coil) and the magnet to rotate. Electrical power is delivered as a result of technology using a system of carbon brushes fixed on the coil and two copper rings fixed on the rotation shaft. Therefore the rotation of the coil is made possible without any twisting of the rows of contacts. In the case of strong winds, the increase in the eddy current can generate resistance and can drive the coil in the same direction as the magnet. This scenario is avoided owing to a back-stop bearing system. Therefore the system continues to produce electrical energy like a standard Rotor-Stator system.
