Abstract

The tool for stimulating mechanoreceptors on the palmar surface and fingers of the hand of a user in an aquatic environment comprises a base (12) intended to receive the palmar surface and fingers of the hand, attachment means (16) for retaining the base on the hand, and a plurality of spikes (14) that are supported by the base and protrude from said base. The base (12) is deformable under the effect of the water pressure exerted while the tool is being moved, and the spikes (14) are rigid so as to cause a skin deformation of the palmar surface and fingers of the hand during the deformation of the base under the effect of said water pressure.
