Abstract

The invention relates to a device for locking a turnover plate in a frame of a work table for the assembly of workpieces, in which the turnover plate is mounted in a vertically pivotable manner on longitudinal spars of the frame by means of journals. To increase the effectiveness and the safety, the turnover plate according to the invention has guide grooves which are arranged in a defined manner in its longitudinal sides in the region of the journals and correspond with guide pins which are provided on the longitudinal spars and by means of which the turnover plate can be positioned in a defined manner in its respective working position and automatically locked therein. The invention can be used, for example, for work tables in smaller workshops, craft enterprises or at mobile work stations.
