Disclosed is a method for producing phthalocyanine-graphene hybrid materials which are covalently bonded by one step and one-pot electrochemical method. The method allows production in one step and does not require a purification procedure. The production method includes: selecting marl, comprising at least 70% CaCO3, as the raw material, grinding the marl to have particle size lower than 400 lam, calcining the marl at a temperature between 1000-1200° C., re-grinding the marl after the calcination process, reducing a d90 particle size of calcined marl to between 200-700 nm after the grinding process, applying a dry mixing process to the material having a reduced particle size, adding water to the material after dry mixing and applying mechanical mixing process during duration between 3-6 minutes at a revolution between 800-1000 rpm, adding super-fluidizing chemical additive to the obtained material, and mixing the material for duration between 3-6 minutes by using ultrasonic homogenizer and mechanic mixing.

A Quantitative Phase Imaging system uses acoustic pressure waves and has capability to measure the nano-mechanical disturbances formed on the cell. By means of the obtained images, cell hardness can be measured and the pato-physiologic features of the cancer cells shall be characterized. By means of this method where mechanical interaction is not directly used, it is aimed to display the characteristic vibration rings formed by the acoustic vibration rings on the cancer sample.

This invention relates to the production of a rapid hardening repair material suitable for use in the construction industry using slags originating from blast furnace and basic oxygen furnace that are generated during iron and steel manufacturing process, and the related repair material. With to the invention, it is possible to obtain rapid hardening geopolymer repair material by adding an alkali activator solution to the mixture of ground basic oxygen furnace slag and ground granulated blast furnace slag. The repair material obtained according to the invention sets in a short time. With setting, the repair material gains high early age strength. Basic oxygen furnace slag can be used at high proportions in the repair material and it is ensured that this waste material is efficiently utilized.

The present invention relates to a method for obtaining boron carbide nanofibers, including the steps of: preparation of an initial mixture comprising one or more carboxylic acids, glycerin and elementary boron nanoparticles; gelling of the initial mixture to obtain a gel; subjecting the gel to a pyrolysis step, to obtain a precursor; performed at a temperature within the range between 450°C and 750°C; and subjecting the precursor to a heat treatment at a temperature within the range between 1450°C and 1550°C, thereby obtaining a product which includes boron carbide nanofibers; and in the method, the initial mixture of step (i) further comprises boric acid particles, or alternatively, the method includes an introduction of boric acid particles along with nano-boron oxide into the precursor obtained in step (iii) prior to the step (iv).

The present invention relates to the use of indium (III) phthalocyanine compound in photodynamic therapy for the treatment of cervical cancer. 1,8(1 1 ), 15(18), 22(25)- tetra-(3,5-di-tert-butylphenoxy) indium (III) phthalocyanine compound (335ln(lll) Pc) is applied in photodynamic therapy for the treatment of cervical cancer, and the singlet oxygen quantum yield thereof is quite high (49%). In the present invention, 335ln(lll)Pc compound was applied to HeLa cells originating from human cervical carcinoma, and it has been indicated that the cell viability is decreased depending on the dose as a result of the proliferation rate analysis and that 100 pM of product concentration cause the survival of 47,45% of the cells, in other words, the death of 52,55% of the cells. It was determined that different concentrations are both showed antiproliferative effects on cells and lead to cell death through various mechanisms by means of cell index parameter evaluated. It has been indicated that the cells undergo mitosis division is decreased significantly depending on time by means of the mitosis index parameter. As such, it has been found that it leads to the death of cancer cells by means of using various mechanisms in different concentrations.

Abstract
The present invention is based on a "Quantitative Phase Imaging" system which uses acoustic pressure waves and which has capability to measure the nano-mechanical disturbances formed on the cell. By means of the obtained images, cell hardness can be measured and the pato-physiologic features of the cancer cells shall be characterized. By means of this method where mechanical interaction is not directly used, it is aimed to display the characteristic vibration rings formed by the acoustic vibration rings on the cancer sample.

The invention is related to the production of geopolymer binders using slags generated by blast furnaces and basic oxygen furnaces during iron and steel production. With the invention, geopolymer binders which do not require processes such as thermal curing, water curing or steam curing, and which show high compressive strength can be produced. With the invention, the basic oxygen furnace slag can be used as a geopolymer binder material and the environmental and economic problems caused by the same can be reduced. A geopolymer binder in paste form obtained by the said method and the use thereof is also described.
