An LED string light includes a first conducting wire, a second conducting wire, and a third conducting wire which are arranged in parallel. The first conducting wire, the second conducting wire and the third conducting wire all comprise a conducting wire core and an insulation layer coating a surface of the conducting wire core, and the first conducting wire and the second conducting wire defines a plurality of lamp welding regions. The LED string light also includes a plurality of SMD LEDs respectively disposed at the plurality of lamp welding regions. An LED string light includes a first conducting wire, a second conducting wire, and a third conducting wire which are arranged in parallel. The first, second, and third conducting wires all comprise a conducting wire core and an insulation layer coating a surface of the conducting wire core, and the first conducting wire and the second conducting wire define a plurality of lamp welding regions. Provided is a fully-automatic assembly method for an LED lamp string, comprising the following steps: (1) an SMD (Surface Mount Device) LED (Light Emitting Diode) being placed on an LED fixing clamp of a turntable conveying mechanism, being conveyed to a soldering mechanism by means of the turntable conveying mechanism, and then being conveyed to a welding mechanism by means of the turntable conveying mechanism; (2) a positive wire and a negative wire being conveyed to a wire stripping mechanism, and then being conveyed to the welding mechanism by means of a wire feeding mechanism; (3) a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the SMD LED respectively being welded to corresponding lamp welding areas of the positive wire and the negative wire to form the lamp string, and detecting the SMD LED of the lamp string by means of a welding detection mechanism; (4) encapsulating surfaces of the SMD LED and the lamp welding areas by using a UV adhesive and curing same using an adhesive dispensing and curing mechanism; and (5) rolling up the LED lamp string from the adhesive dispensing and curing mechanism into a coil by means of a take-up mechanism. With the fully-automatic assembly method for an LED lamp string, the processing efficiency of the LED lamp string is improved, and the production cost is reduced.
