Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an air purifying device (1), configured to be arranged in association with an inner area (B) of a child carrying device (10) or a seat unit (40). The air purifying device (1) comprises: a back layer (2); an air permeable distribution layer (3); an internal cavity (4) formed between said back layer (2) and said distribution layer (3); a first air inlet (5); a first ventilator (7) arranged to draw air from the surroundings (A) through the first air inlet (5) into the internal cavity (4), so that an overpressure is generated in the internal cavity (4); and a first air filter (9) arranged to purify the air from the surroundings (A). The overpressure in the internal cavity (4) will force the air to flow from the internal cavity (4) through said distribution layer (3) towards the inner area (B). The air purifying device (1) further comprises a guide element (8) arranged opposite to the first air inlet (5) to guide the air entering the internal cavity (4) via the first air inlet (5). The present disclosure also relates to a child carrying device (10) and a seat unit (40) comprising such an air purifying device (1).

The present invention relates to a portable air purifying device (1), configured to be arranged in association with an inner area (B) of a child carrying device (10), wherein the air purifying device (1) comprises: a back layer (2); an air permeable distribution layer (3) arranged opposite to the back layer (2); an internal cavity (4) formed between said back layer (2) and said distribution layer (3); a first air inlet (5) arranged in fluid communication with the internal cavity (4); a first ventilator (7) arranged to draw air from the surroundings (A) through the first air inlet (5) into the internal cavity (4), so that an overpressure is generated in the internal cavity (4); and a first air filter (9) arranged to purify the air from the surroundings (A) before being discharged from the air purifying device (1) into the inner area (B) of the child carrying device (10), wherein the first air filter (9) is removably arranged to allow replacement of the first air filter (9), wherein the overpressure in the internal cavity (4) will force the air to flow through said distribution layer (3) towards the inner area (B), wherein the distribution layer (3) comprises a material configured such that the air will be evenly distributed within the distribution layer (3) before exiting said distribution layer (3).

Abstract

The object of the present invention is to reduce the exposure of polluted air to a baby, and in particular to minimize the pollutions inhaled by a baby when strolling, walking or transporting a baby in an exterior environment. The object is attained by providing a portable device for filtering air, said device being adapted to be arranged in association with a top end of a baby- transporting device. With such an air-filtering device, air from outside of the baby-transporting device may be filtered and purified before being provided in a well-distributed manner to the area of the baby-transporting device where a baby is positioned.
