Abstract

A supporting base and an outdoor umbrella using the supporting base are provided. The supporting base includes a supporting post, a plurality of supporting legs and a bottom pad. The supporting legs are hinged to a lower end of the supporting post. The supporting post is configured to connect an object to be supported. The bottom pad is a flexible bottom pad, and the bottom pad is connected to the supporting legs and arranged under the supporting legs. When the supporting legs are flipped to a supporting base placement surface along a hinge joint of the supporting leg and the supporting post, the bottom pad is located between the supporting legs and the supporting base placement surface and attached to the supporting base placement surface. The outdoor umbrella is fixedly placed by using the supporting base. The bottom pad is spread by the supporting legs.

Abstract

A support base and an outdoor umbrella using the support base, the support base comprising: a support column (51), a plurality of support feet (52) and a bottom pad (53); the support feet (52) being hinged at a bottom end of the support column (51), the support column (51) being used for connecting to a supported object, and the support feet (52) being able to flip along the hinge location between same and the support column (51) until reaching a support base placement surface and being secured. The bottom pad (53) comprising a flexible-material bottom pad, and the bottom pad (53) being connected to the support feet (52) and being disposed below the support feet (52). When the support feet (52) are in a state whereby same have flipped along the hinge location between same and the support column (51) until reaching the support base placement surface, the bottom pad (53) being disposed between the support feet (52) and the support base placement surface and abutting the support base placement surface. The outdoor umbrella being securely placed via said support base. The support base using the support feet (52) for spreading-open the structure of the bottom pad (53), and the entire support base being able to retract, thus saving transport space; the bottom pad (53) being able to have locally-sourced weighting objects placed thereon, for instance sand at a beach, rocks at a riverfront, drinking water, etc., thus helping when the support base is used for supporting a supported object which has a high center of gravity and which could easily tip over.
