Abstract

The internal fluid channel (5) comprises a plurality of distribution channels (10), wherein each distribution channel (10) extends from a respective one of the openings (13) forward toward the downstream end. The cutting tool component further comprises a deflection element (17), which deflection element (17) comprises a deflection surface (18) arranged in the main channel (9), wherein the deflection surface (18) has a front edge (19) at each respective opening and converges rearward from the front edge (19) toward the main central axis (12).

Abstract
A vibration damping toolholder for a metal cutting tool, the toolholder including a holder body provided with an internal cavity, which extends inside the holder body along the longitudinal axis, and which has a first cavity end at a first holder body end. The damping toolholder further includes a tuning mass, which is movably arranged inside the cavity and extends along the longitudinal axis, and which has a first tuning mass end at the first holder body end. The damping toolholder also includes a damping medium, which surrounds the tuning mass inside the cavity, and a single primary spring element, which is positioned inside the cavity. An outer spring element end is immovably fixed to a first cavity end at the longitudinal axis, and an inner spring element end is immovably fixed to the first tuning mass end at the longitudinal axis.

Abstract
A boring head for fixing a boring tool includes a main body mounted to a rotatable tool holder, a piston being received within and movable with respect to the main body in a radial direction, wherein a circumferential surface of the piston has a flat face parallel with the radial direction, and a combined orientation and fixation device for orienting and fixing the piston with respect to the main body. The combined orientation and fixation device includes a blind sleeve mounted in the main body, a flexible end wall of the blind sleeve facing the flat face of the piston, and a tightening screw configured for engagement with the blind sleeve so that the flexible end wall presses against the flat face when the tightening screw is tightened to press the piston against the main body and to simultaneously orient and fix the piston with respect to the main body.

Abstract

Abstract
A non-rotating boring tool for internal turning includes a boring bar having an elongated body, a cutting element with a rake side, a relief surface and a cutting edge, and an electrically controlled vibration actuator for active vibration damping of the boring bar. Moreover, when seen in a cross-sectional plane that is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the elongated body and intersecting the cutting edge in a radially outermost point, straight and imaginary first and second reference lines intersect the cutting edge in the radially outermost point with the first reference line extending at an angle of 6° to the relief surface on the outside of the cutting element, and the second reference line extending between the rake side and the relief surface at an angle of 10-40° to the first reference line. Abstract
An adjustable cartridge for a boring bar includes a support structure including a surface for abutment with a peripheral area of a boring bar. A load-bearing structure mounts a cutting insert assembled to be movable in a first direction on the support structure. An adjustment mechanism is arranged to adjust the position of the load-bearing structure in relation to the support structure. The adjustment mechanism includes at least a first elastic means arranged to exert force against a first surface of the load-bearing structure, and an adjustment part disposed between the support structure and a second surface of the load-bearing structure and arranged to contact and to be movable in a second direction relative to the support structure and the load-bearing structure.
