Abstract
A die casting mold includes a mold frame with at least two mold inserts and with at least one slider, the mold frame comprising a frame pocket for arranging the at least two mold inserts and the at least one slider, the at least two mold inserts delimiting a cavity with an undercut corresponding to the at least one slider, the mold frame comprising a first and a second mold frame halves disposed on opposite sides of a parting plane. At least one of the first and the second mold frame halves is formed by a plurality of mold frame parts connected to one another in a form-fitting manner, one of the plurality of mold frame parts having a locking surface, which, as viewed along a locking axis, is effective as a slider lock against a displacement of the at least one slider directed outwardly as viewed from the cavity.

Abstract
The invention relates to a die casting mould (10) having a mould frame (12), at least two mould inserts (18, 20) and at least one slide (22), the mould frame having a frame pocket for arrangement of the mould inserts and of the at least one slide, the mould inserts delimiting a cavity (24) with an undercut (32) associated with the slide, the mould frame having first and second mould frame halves (38, 40) arranged on opposite sides of a parting plane (26), at least one of the mould frame halves being formed by a plurality of mould frame parts interlockingly connected to one another, one of the mould frame parts having a locking face (36) which, as viewed along a locking axis (50), is effective as a slide locking means, preventing an outward displacement of the slide, as viewed from the cavity. The invention further relates to a method for using and maintaining a die casting mould.

Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing a water jacket core (48), said method comprising the following steps: a. introducing structures into at least two separate water jacket core segments (102, 104, 106, 108, 110) to form cooling channel portions; and b. joining the water jacket core segments to obtain a water jacket core having at least one cooling channel (64, 66, 68).
