A container seal is provided within the lid body for sealingly engaging the container. The container seal includes a biasing element in contact with the lever member. The biasing element is configured to maintain the lever member in the sealed position and is configured to move the lever member from the unsealed position back toward the sealed position with respect to the drinking opening.
