A veterinary syringe includes a syringe cylinder having a front dispensing end and a rear end. A handle has a front gripping part on the syringe cylinder and a rear gripping part fastened pivotably to the front gripping part. A metering device sets the fluid volume to be dispensed. The rear end portion of a plunger rod is fastened to the rear gripping part such that by pivoting of the rear gripping part in the direction of the syringe cylinder, the plunger rod is moved in the syringe cylinder to the front dispensing end to dispense fluid from the syringe cylinder. An adjustable front stop sets the maximum stroke of the plunger rod. The rear end portion of the plunger rod is fastened pivotably to the rear gripping part such that a relative pivoting movement is the only possible relative movement between the plunger rod and the rear gripping part.
A veterinary syringe includes a syringe cylinder having a front dispensing end and a rear end. A plunger rod is arranged displaceably in the syringe cylinder. There is a fluid connection from the connection through a feed channel in the plunger rod as far as the syringe cylinder. The plunger rod has, in the front end portion thereof, a nonreturn valve which blocks the fluid connection and opens only when the pressure in the feed channel lies above the pressure in the syringe cylinder by a predetermined value. The plunger is connected releasably to the front end portion and the nonreturn valve is accessible for maintenance purposes after the plunger is detached from the end portion. An actuatable safety mechanism prevents an unintentional detaching of the plunger by detaching of the plunger from the front end portion being possible only after the safety mechanism is actuated.
A reusable irrigation sheath for an endoscope includes a sheathing tube connected to an end portion, a fixing unit formed at the end portion, and a rinsing port fluid-connected to the sheathing tube. The irrigation sheath includes an endoscope channel extending through the end portion and the sheathing tube. Once the endoscope shaft has been introduced into the endoscope channel and has reached the work position, the irrigation sheath is fixed to the endoscope via the fixing unit so that the distal end of the endoscope shaft rests against an axial stop and the radial position of the endoscope shaft in the sheathing tube is specified by at least two radial stops such that a rinsing channel located within the sheathing tube and in fluid connection with the rinsing port extends up to the distal end of the sheathing tube.

For the clamping process, the ramp track (41) is rotated in such a way that the roller (40) runs on an ascending region (44) to a second plateau (45), and the plunger (26) is thereby moved into its rear end position. For the dispensing process, the ramp track (41) is rotated on the basis of a contact between the roller (40) and the second plateau (45) until the roller (40) runs over a transition region (46) and accelerates towards the first plateau (43) due to the pretension, and the plunger (26) is thereby moved towards an open dispensing end (14) of the cylinder (13). The device (1) has a front part (11) comprising the cylinder (13) and the open dispensing end (14) and a rear part (12) comprising the clamping device (S), the front part (11) and the rear part (12) being made of different materials.
The invention relates to a device for administering a fluid, said device comprising a cylinder (13), a plunger (26) which can be displaced in the cylinder (13) between a front and rear end position and which is connected to a plunger rod (25), and a clamping device (S) connected to the plunger rod (25), said clamping device (S) having a ramp (42) which can be rotated by means of a motor (51) and which comprises a ramp track (41) extending along a helical line. The clamping device (S) also has a roller (40) which contacts the ramp track (41) and which is rotatably mounted in a carrier (31) connected to the plunger rod (25) so that, when the ramp (42) is rotated along a first rotational direction (52), the ramp track (41) runs below the roller (40), which thereby rotates. A metering adjustment device (36) is provided which comprises a spacer (70) and a moving unit, wherein, when the plunger (26) is in its rear end position, the moving unit can move the spacer (70) from a neutral position in which the spacer (70) is not positioned between the carrier (31) and the cylinder (13) into an active position between the carrier (31) and the cylinder (13) so that, after the roller (40) has run over the transition region (46), the carrier (31) is stopped by the spacer (70), meaning that the plunger stroke during the movement of the plunger (26) towards the open dispensing end is shorter compared to when the spacer (70) is in its neutral position.
An endoscope having an endoscope shaft and a main body, which is connected to the endoscope shaft and on which a first dial that has a first contact surface is mounted in a rotatable manner, is provided. The main body has a second contact surface against which the first contact surface bears. The contact surfaces move against one another when the first dial is rotated. A first setting unit is provided, using which a pressure force with which the first contact surface is pressed against the second contact surface is settable in order to set a minimum torque that is necessary in order to rotate the first dial.

A sealing unit is disposed in the main part and has an elastic sealing element having a hollow-cylindrical wall, which divides the through-opening into a first region that runs from the sealing unit as far as the first end of the main body, and into a second region that runs from the sealing unit as far as the end of the shaft tube that faces away from the main part. When the instrument has been properly inserted in the through-opening, the sealing element seals off the two regions from each other.
A protective sleeve for an endoscope having an endoscope tube is provided. The protective sleeve of certain embodiments can include a tubular main body for holding a distal section of the endoscope tube. The main body has an open proximal end and a cover glass at the distal end. The cover glass has a spherically curved, concave inside, a spherically curved, convex outside and a constant thickness.

An endoscope with a variable direction of view is provided, which includes an endoscope shaft and imaging optics arranged inside the endoscope shaft. These image an object located before the distal end of the endoscope and produce an image of the object in the proximal area of the endoscope in which a field stop is arranged. The produced image is larger than the field stop. In the proximal area of the endoscope an image module is arranged with which the relative position between the produced image and the field stop can be changed for changing the section of the produced image visible after the field stop in order to change the direction of view of the endoscope.

An endoscope includes a handle and a shaft connected thereto. Imaging optics are arranged in the shaft that image an object located in the direction of view of the imaging optics in front of the shaft as an image and which to set the desired direction of view. The imaging optics comprise a swivellably housed deflecting unit positioned at the distal end of the shaft facing away from the handle. The possible swivel range of the imaging optics has a first and a second limit, as well as an actuating element, which is attached to the handle and which is mechanically connected to the deflecting unit. Thereby the swivel position of the deflecting unit within the swivel range can be changed in order to set a desired direction of view. A first mechanical stop is provided against which the deflecting unit lies when the first limit is reached.
