Abstract

The present invention relates to stable gel laundry detergent composition. Although several approaches at providing laundry gel composition which provide desired viscosity, good cleaning performance while maintaining desired sensorial properties and appearance have been known, it is still desired to provide improved laundry gel composition. The present inventors have found that by incorporating a balanced combination of alkali metal carbonate and a hydroxyalkyl alkyl cellulose, it is possible to provide a laundry gel composition with desired viscosity and good physical appearance and the gel composition also provides good cleaning performance.

Abstract

The present invention relates to detergent bars. Specifically, the present invention relates to a laundry detergent bar composition having no polyphosphate builders. The present inventors have found that disclosed process for preparing a solid laundry detergent bar composition which involves a step of complete neutralization of the acid precursor of anionic surfactant with specific neutralizing agent and a step of contacting a phosphorous based acid with an aluminium containing alkaline compound to form an aluminium-phosphate complex provides a laundry detergent bar composition which has desirable bar properties and sensorial properties even when the laundry detergent bar composition has 0 wt.% polyphosphate builder, more specifically when the laundry detergent bar composition has 0 wt.% STPP. The laundry detergent bar deliver superior sensory properties such as lather, bar feel, skin feel, colour of the bar, without altering the processability and physical properties of the bar.

Abstract

The present invention is in the fields of hard surface cleaning compositions. It relates to a concentrated composition for providing a storage stable hard surface cleaner on dilution in water, that delivers improved streak free cleaning performance. The present invention provides a concentrated hard surface cleaning composition comprising: (a) 1 to 20 % by weight of a glycol ether selected from ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, propylene glycol monomethyl ether, propylene glycol mono n-butyl ether, ethylene glycol mono hexyl ether, di-propylene glycol monomethyl ether, di-propylene glycol mono propyl ether, and diethylene glycol butyl ether, propylene glycol mono phenyl ether and propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate and combinations thereof; (b) 1 to 20 % by weight of C2 to C10 alcohol; (c) 0.5 to 10% by weight of a preservative; and (d) water, wherein the preservative comprises phenoxyethanol. The composition forms a hard surface cleaner on dilution in water, that provides streak free cleaning to a surface. The cleaner shows reduced microbial growth over time, thereby it can be stored and used for a longer period.

Abstract

The present invention is in the field of cleaning compositions. It relates to a unit dose tablet providing a liquid cleaning composition on dissolution in water. There is a need for an improved tablet containing significantly high amount of detersive active, which is hard, yet dissolves fast in contact with water. The present invention provides a tablet comprising 5 to 80 % by weight of a surfactant selected from anionic surfactant, non-ionic surfactant and combinations thereof; a hydrotrope comprising an alkyl aryl sulphonate having C1 to C5 alkyl chain; and select disintegrants, wherein the surfactant comprises at least an anionic surfactant being alkyl cocoyl taurate. The tablet disintegrates quickly in contact with water, thereby provides a liquid cleaning composition. The present invention further provides a process for obtaining a hard surface cleaner and a method for cleaning a surface.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a liquid skin cleansing composition, more particularly a composition for washing the face that is especially useful and effective in removal of make-up. The composition is delivered as a foam from a container having a pump with the added attraction that the liquid is visibly transparent over a wide range of temperatures including freezing temperatures. This is achieved by formulating a composition comprising synthetic surfactant and specific concentration of fatty acid and humectant in a narrow range of pH of from 8.8 to 9.8.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a plant-based frozen confection premix comprising fat, sugars, stabilizer, and plant protein comprising pulse protein (such as pea protein), wherein the process comprises the sequential steps of: (a) combining sugars, stabilizer and plant protein in water to prepare an aqueous dispersion; (b) optionally adjusting the pH of the aqueous dispersion to ensure that the pH is in the range of 6.5 to 8.5; (c) combining the aqueous dispersion having a pH in the range of 6.5 to 8.5 with the fat to provide a frozen confection premix; (d) reducing the pH of the frozen confection premix to a pH in the range of 3 to 6; and (e) optionally pasteurising the frozen confection premix of step (d). Furthermore present invention relates to a plant-based premix for making a frozen confection and to a frozen confection with fat, sugars, stabilizer and plant protein (1 to 12 wt-%) comprising pulse protein.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a skin cleaning composition, more particularly a composition for cleaning the face that is especially useful and effective in removal of make-up. The composition is delivered in the form of a bilayer composition: an oily layer on top of an aqueous layer, both of which are transparent. The composition forms a micellar translucent or hazy liquid when shaken and reverts to the bilayer composition with time.
