Abstract

Breast cancer is the most common cause of death for women worldwide. Drugs that inhibit estrogen receptor or block the production of estrogens are commonly used in the treatment and management of estrogen receptor (ER+) positive breast cancer and other hormone-dependent cancers. Selective Estrogen Receptor Degraders (SERD) are a class of molecules that bind to the ER and induce its degradation. Drug resistance remains a challenge in breast cancer treatment, particularly for cancers in advanced stages.
