Abstract
The subject matter of the present invention relates to a sensor for counting and/or determining the direction of passage of objects and/or living beings that each possess a thermal signature, comprising or consisting of: - a, preferably digital, pyroelectric component incorporating at least two pairs of detecting cells; and - one cell of which is masked in each pair of cells. The present invention furthermore relates to a mechanical unit for sensing passages comprising such a sensor and an optical lens. The present invention furthermore relates to the use of such a sensor, for example taking the form of a mechanical unit for capturing passages, in a device. The present invention relates to the device as such. The present invention also relates to the algorithm for processing the data of the sensor.
IPC Classes ?
- G01J 5/00 - Radiation pyrometry, e.g. infrared or optical thermometry
- G01J 5/08 - Optical arrangements
- G01P 13/00 - Indicating or recording presence or absence of movementIndicating or recording of direction of movement
- G07C 11/00 - Arrangements, systems or apparatus for checking, e.g. the occurrence of a condition, not provided for elsewhere
- G08G 1/042 - Detecting movement of traffic to be counted or controlled using inductive or magnetic detectors
- G08B 13/191 - Actuation by interference with heat, light, or radiation of shorter wavelengthActuation by intruding sources of heat, light, or radiation of shorter wavelength using passive radiation detection systems using infrared-radiation detection systems using pyroelectric sensor means
