Abstract

A caulking gun for dispensing viscous material does not have any freeloop. A brake device is in the first and in the second position inclined relative to the axis of the push rod and a release device pushes the brake device in a third, essentially perpendicular position relative to the axis of the push rod in order to disengage the push rod from the brake device for pulling back the push rod and for acting simultaneously on the push device in order to disengage the push rod. Abstract

The invention concerns a valve for a fluid dispensing container comprising a mounting cup to be fixed on a container, a housing to be fixed on the mounting cup and defining a channel with an inlet end and an outlet end, whereby a hollow stem is glidingly arranged in the channel. In order to provide a valve which is also suitable for heterogeneous products, in particular heterogeneous products containing solid particles, it is proposed according to the present invention that the stem is flange-free and in that sealing means in form of a concentric circumferential sealing protrusion on the stem are provided for the sealing between the outer surface of the stem and the housing. When the stem passes from the open into the closed position, it enters at least partially into the housing without product being retained between the flange of the stem and the housing.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a caulking gun for dispensing viscous material which does not have any freeloop. According to the present invention that the brake means (14) are in the first and in the second position inclined relative to the axis of the push rod (6) and that release means (17) are provided for pushing the brake means in a third, essentially perpendicular position relative to the axis of the push rod in order to disengage the push rod from the brake means for pulling back the push rod and for acting simultaneously on the push means in order to disengage the push rod. Due to the fact that the brake means are inclined in the first and in the second position due to the action of spring means acting on one end of the brake means and clamp the rod so that any freeloop (due to the fact that the brake means do not clamp the rod in the upright position) is avoided.

Abstract

adjusting means for varying the retreat of the push rod. In order to provide an adjustable caulking gun with at least two different levels of retreat of the push rod giving the user easily a visual feedback of the chosen retreat of the push rod, it is proposed according to the present invention that the adjusting means are configured as a rotatable wheel with a slope, the rotatable wheel being positioned on the axis of the push rod between the stock and the brake means, the distance between the highest point of the slope and the brake means defining the retreat of the push rod. This rotatable wheel allows the user to select the level of retreat of the push rod by turning the wheel between a first position with no retreat of the push rod and a second position with a maximum retreat of the push rod resulting in a anti-drip behavior of the caulking gun.

Abstract

The invention relates to a foam gun, in particular for polyurethane foam, having a body and a handle, which is arranged on the body and has a triggering device, having a container holder and having a fluid connection between the container holder and an outlet opening, wherein an interchangeable dispensing tip can be fastened on the outlet opening. In order to make it easier for the dispensing tips to be carried along, the invention proposes for the handle to be designed for accommodating at least one dispensing tip. The handle may be of internally hollow design and serve for storing at least one dispensing tip, preferably a plurality of dispensing tips. This is advantageous to the extent that the foam gun has replacement dispensing tips in each case and these do not have to be carried along separately. In addition, up until they are used, the dispensing tips are protected against the often rough basic conditions at the use location of the foam gun, in particular also against contamination with chemicals, which could bring about an undesired reaction with the exiting polyurethane foam.
