An inflatable platform assembly and related method is provided, the platform assembly comprising an inflatable base having opposite first and second surfaces and extending along a primary axis of the base; a first pontoon extending along a first pontoon axis from a first end to a second end of the first pontoon; and a second pontoon extending along a second pontoon axis from a first end to a second end of the second pontoon, the base comprising one or more attachment devices arranged on the second surface, wherein the one or more attachment devices comprise a first set of one or more first attachment devices including a first primary attachment device for attaching the first pontoon to the base with the first pontoon axis parallel to the primary axis, and a second set of one or more second attachment devices including a second primary attachment device for attaching the second pontoon to the base with the second pontoon axis parallel to the primary axis.
