Abstract

A wheel disc for a wheel with a radially extending hub connection flange and a disc rim connected to a wheel rim and a transition region extending between the disc rim and the connection flange. The transition region is provided with ventilation holes. The holes extend in the radial direction from a first inner pitch circle located closer to the connection flange to a second outer pitch circle located closer to the rim. In order to improve the competitiveness of vehicle wheels made of steel or other materials suitable in particular for cold forming compared to cast vehicle wheels made of aluminium, according to the invention, the transition surface (20) is provided with several changes in material thickness generated during flow forming by displacement of the tool and, viewed in the radial direction, effecting a wave structure on the surface facing the tool during flow forming. The surface provided with the wave structure can in particular form the non-visible inner side of a vehicle wheel, but can also form the visible side. In addition, the opposite surface can also be provided with a wave structure.

Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle wheel, and a monitoring device therewith, with a rim section 203 and a disc section and a measuring device 210 having at least one measuring sensor for detecting forces acting on the vehicle wheel. In order to provide a measuring device in a simplified manner, enabling to determine the dynamic load on the vehicle wheel during drive operation and static load forces, according to the invention, a metal strip 111 is attached by means of an adhesive connection to the outer side of the rim section 203 and the measuring device is assigned to the metal strip, wherein the measuring device 210 has a bending strut provided with the at least one measuring sensor and being connected to the metal strip at two fastening zones spaced apart from one another, or the measuring sensor is connected to the metal strip and has several of differently oriented strain gauges for the local detection of a deformation of the metal strip between the fastening zones.
