Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a pharmaceutical inhalation dry-powder sampling device for a spray-drying apparatus, comprising a sampling inlet comprising an aerosol probe for receiving aerosol particles from the spray-drying apparatus, an aerosol disperser for deagglomerating and diluting the received aerosol particles, and an outlet for supplying the dispersed aerosol particles to an aerodynamic particle size sensor. Furthermore, the present disclosure also relates to a pharmaceutical inhalation dry- powder analysing device, a spray-drying apparatus and a method thereof, and a dry powder inhaler formulation development method.

Abstract

A process for the preparation of a compound of formula (II) where Et=ethyl; Bn=benzyl and Ph=phenyl; comprises the step of reacting a cyclic amine with an alkylating agent to form a compound of formula II, wherein the process is solvent-free. The chloroalkyl N-substituted cyclic amines of formula II may be used in the preparation of active pharmaceutical ingredients or intermediates therefor comprising these moieties in their molecular structure.
