Abstract

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for an air operated double diaphragm pump with a selectably removable valve body for convenient repair and maintenance. The pump may include an inlet, an outlet, and first and second diaphragm chamber housings. Each first and second diaphragm chamber housings defines a diaphragm chamber. A valve body housing is arranged between the first and second diaphragm chamber housings. A valve body is arranged within the valve body housing, is in fluid communication with the diaphragm chambers of the first and second diaphragm chamber housings, and includes pilot signal ports, diaphragm chamber inlet ports, and chamber exhaust ports that are all accessible on a signal surface of the valve body. The signal surface may be on a same side of the valve body. To stabilize the pump during repair and maintenance, stabilizing feet may project from outer edges of the diaphragm chamber housings.

Abstract

A system for monitoring a vehicle CAN includes a measurement module power source, an electrical meter connected across the CAN and configured to detect an electrical characteristic of the CAN, a memory configured to store one or more prior measurements of the electrical characteristic, and a controller connected to the measurement module power source, the electrical meter, and the memory. The controller is configured to, when the vehicle is powered off and the controller is powered by the measurement module power source: receive a present measurement of the electrical characteristic of the CAN from the electrical meter, determine, based on the present measurement and the one or more prior measurements, whether the electrical characteristic is approaching an edge of a predetermined operational range for the electrical characteristic, and output a deterioration warning when the electrical characteristic is found to be approaching the edge of the predetermined operational range.

Abstract

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a positive displacement pump. The pump includes a pump housing having an inlet and an outlet. An internal gear assembly is arranged along a fluid pathway between the inlet and outlet and includes a shaft, a rotor gear, and an idler gear. The rotor gear is operably coupled to a first end of the shaft. A first bearing is arranged around the shaft. The seal holder plate is arranged between the first bearing and the first end of the shaft. A first sealing element is concentrically arranged between the shaft and the seal holder plate to seal and isolate the first bearing from fluid traveling between the inlet and the outlet. The first bearing, the seal holder plate, and the first sealing element are arranged in a packing box portion of the pump housing that is isolated from the fluid.

Abstract

A fluid delivery system for continuous fluid flow includes a first inlet in fluidic communication with a first pump, a first pressure sensor for detecting a first fluid pressure downstream from the first pump, a second inlet in fluidic communication with a second pump, a second pressure sensor for detecting a second fluid pressure downstream from the second pump, an outlet, a valve including a first position and a second position, wherein the first position fluidically connects the first inlet with the outlet, and the second position fluidically connects the first inlet, the second inlet, and the outlet, and a controller system including a processor and memory. The controller system is communicatively coupled with the first pump, the second pump, the first pressure sensor, the second pressure sensor, and the valve, wherein the controller system receives signals indicative of the first fluid pressure from the first pressure sensor and the second fluid pressure from the second pressure sensor, wherein the processor is programmed to direct the valve to move from the first position to the second position in response to the first fluid pressure being about equal to the second fluid pressure, and to substantially simultaneously cease fluid flow through the first inlet.

A mechanically or hydraulically driven movable piston rod is for performing spreading, cutting, lifting, and/or pressing. An electronic device controls and/or regulates the electric motor and includes a printed circuit board with a potting compound on which electronic components are arranged. An electrically conductive on the insert shaft allows a releasable electric contact between the battery and the electronic device of the tool by inserting the battery into the insert shaft. The contact is divided into a first and second surface regions. The first surface region is covered with a nonconductive protective layer, and the second surface region is free of the protective layer.

Abstract

A fluidic connection system includes a threaded fastener and a fitting assembly. The threaded fastener may be a universal threaded fastener that may be used with various tubings having different outer diameters. The fitting assembly includes a locking ring and a ferrule sized and shaped to fit within a borehole of the locking ring. When the fluidic connection system is assembled an end of the locking ring and an end of the ferrule project beyond an end of the fitting assembly. In some embodiments, the locking ring may be symmetric about a plane normal to its longitudinal axis such that the locking ring may be positioned on the tubing in either direction. The locking ring may be received in a fitting pocket of the fitting assembly. In other embodiments, the locking ring has a tapered feature on an end that engages with a tapered feature on the threaded fastener for aiding in centering the locking ring within the threaded fastener. In some embodiments, the ferrule may also be symmetric about a longitudinal axis such that the ferrule may be positioned on the tubing in either direction.

Abstract

A sewer inspection or maintenance system is provided having a sensor system with which at least three distances between a predetermined first point in the sewer pipe and the sewer wall of the sewer pipe are detected. The system has a processing unit adapted for determining a diameter of the sewer pipe and a predetermined second point in the sewer pipe based on the detected distances, and for determining a horizontal offset and a vertical offset between the predetermined first point and the predetermined second point based on the determined diameter and the detected distances. Abstract

A method for monitoring the speed of an inspection unit of a sewer inspection or maintenance system is provided where the inspection unit is movable in a sewer. The method includes a first step in which a driving speed of the inspection unit is detected, a second step in which the detected driving speed is compared with a predetermined driving speed, where a speed indicator is generated based upon the result of the comparison, a third step in which, based upon the generated speed indicator, a colored symbol is selected from a set of colored symbols, and a fourth step in which the selected colored symbol is displayed on a display device. The speed indicator indicates within which speed interval from a set of predetermined speed intervals the detected driving speed falls.
