Abstract

A drilling needle includes a needle head at one end of a needle shank. The needle head has a flattened wedge portion with two wedge faces and a cutter portion with two cutting faces, which each adjoin one of the wedge faces and adjoin one another at a top edge that runs at a right angle to an axis of rotation. The needle head has on each side a relief face, which forms a cutting edge with each of the cutting faces. The cutting edge forms, with the respective other one of the cutting faces, a secondary edge that trails with respect to the direction of rotation. A relief angle, spanned by a virtual straight line through the cutting edge corner and a secondary edge and a plane that extends perpendicular to the top edge in the axis of rotation, lies in a range from 6° to 10°.

Abstract

The invention relates to a drill chuck which has a drilling needle receptacle device for removable receiving of a drilling needle (1), a hollow cylindrical magnetic holder for the drilling needle receptacle device and a coupling device for torque transfer from a drive device to the drilling needle receptacle device. The drilling needle receptacle device, in which a drilling needle (1) having a flattened end section (1') can be received, has a receptacle element (7), at least two clamping bodies (10) and a clamping insert (6). The receptacle element (7) has at least one cylindrical section (72) having a recess (71) and the clamping insert (6) has counter-molded bodies (61) which supplement the clamping bodies (10) and which extend away from a stop disc (62). The stop disc (62) contacts a face of the cylindrical section (72) and has a lead-through opening (63) for the drilling needle (1). The counter-molded body (61) and the clamping bodies (10) are designed in respect of the dimensions and shape thereof for arrangement in the recess (71) and for clamping receiving of the flattened end section (1') of the drilling needle (1) between the clamping bodies (10) and the counter-molded bodies (61). The invention further relates to a drilling needle and to a drilling needle-drill chuck assembly.

Abstract

Disclosed herein is an exchangeable needle cartridge for a drilling measuring device with a guiding device for a drilling needle. Abstract

The present invention provides an instrument and a method for examining the condition of column-shaped or cylindrical sections of objects. It comprises a drive device having a drill chuck, which holds a drill needle that can be driven by the drive device, and a guiding device for guided insertion of the drill needle into the object to be examined. The guiding device is a telescopic tube that comprises a shorter inner tube section that is arranged in a longer outer tube section such that it is axially displaceable, and has a longitudinally arranged measuring scale on its outer circumference. The telescopic tube is placed on the drive device in non-rotating manner via the inner tube section. The inner and the outer tube sections have guiding means for centrally-axially guiding the drill needle, which extends in central-axial direction from the drill chuck through the inner tube section and through the outer tube section. When the inner tube section is being inserted into the outer tube section, the drill needle can be driven into the object to be examined in a manner guided by the guiding means.

Abstract
