Abstract
A polymeric material is described herein, comprising a polyolefinic elastomer (at least 1 weight percent) and a processed material (at least 70 weight percents) prepared by subjecting a feedstock to mixing via shear forces and to heating. The feedstock has a water content of at least 13 weight percents, and by dry weight at least 40 weight percents of the feedstock is waste material, at least 90 weight percents of the waste material being organic material, and at least 20 weight percents of the feedstock is polyethylene. Further described are a polypropylene- containing material comprising polypropylene and the polymeric material, articles-of- manufacturing comprising same, as well as processes for preparing a polymeric material by subjecting the feedstock and polyolefinic elastomer concomitantly to mixing via shear forces and to heating, as well as polymeric materials obtainable by such a process.

Abstract
A method of separating waste material to a plurality of separated materials is disclosed herein. The method is effected by subjecting the waste material to a separation according to specific gravity, to thereby obtain two or more fractions, and optionally subjecting one or more of said fractions to additional separation procedures, to thereby obtain two or more of a low-density polymeric material, a high-density polymeric material, a metal, a glass, an oil, and lignocelluloses. The disclosed method can further be effected by processing one or more of the separated materials to thereby obtain one or more processed materials of a beneficial use. Further disclose herein are separated and/or processed materials obtainable by the method, articles-of-manufacturing comprising same, and systems for separating and/or processing the waste material.

Abstract
A method and a system for processing waste material to form a biogas and/or ethanol are disclosed herein. The method comprises subjecting waste material to separation according to specific gravity, to thereby obtain a fraction which is a separated lignocellulose; and processing the separated lignocellulose to obtain the biogas and/or ethanol. The system comprises at least one separator configured for separating materials in waste material according to specific gravity to obtain a first fraction comprising a low density material and a second fraction comprising a high-density material; and a bioreactor or bioreactor system configured for processing the separated lignocellulose to thereby obtain the biogas and/or ethanol. The separator contains an aqueous liquid selected such that a portion of the waste material sinks and another portion does not sink upon contact with the aqueous liquid.

Abstract
A method of sorting waste material is disclosed herein, the method comprising separating materials in the waste material according to specific gravity, by contacting the waste material with a liquid selected such that a portion of the waste material sinks, to thereby obtain a sorted material containing at least 90 weight percents of material having a specific gravity within a pre-selected range. Further disclosed herein is a method of processing waste material by separating materials in the waste material according to specific gravity as described herein to remove at least a portion of inorganic materials in the waste material, and subjecting a feedstock comprising the obtained sorted material to mixing via shear forces and to heating. Further disclose herein are a polymeric material obtainable by the method of processing waste material, articles-of-manufacturing comprising same, and systems for sorting and processing waste material.
