Described is a plant for treating organic waste for producing compost, comprising an area (2) for storing organic waste (4), means (22) for introducing and extracting air to and from the storage area (2), means (19) for filtering the air extracted from the storage area (2), a plurality of removable containers (3) for accumulating the organic waste (4), the containers (3) being manoeuvrable individually for being filled with organic waste (4) and inserted in succession inside the storage area (2).
A unit for the digestion of mixtures of organic wastes and biomasses comprises a base (2), a member (3) for containing a mass (50) of organic wastes, rising from the base (2) along a vertical axis of extension (A) and comprising at least one perimeter wall (4) equipped, at its lower end adjacent to the base (2), with a reclosable mouth (4a) for picking up the mass (50). The containment member also comprises a roof (5) having an openable door (5a) to allow organic wastes to be fed into the containment member (3). The unit also comprises means for feeding (7) the organic wastes operatively associated with the door (5a) and configured to gravity feed the organic wastes into the containment member (3) through said door (5a) and mixing means (9) accommodated at least partly inside the containment member (3) and configured to move the mass (50) in order to distribute it.
Described is the unit (1) for the aerobic digestion of wastes, in particular for the digestion of solid organic wastes and sludges, comprising a base (2), a pair of side walls (3, 4) facing each other, each of them comprising a first, lower load-bearing portion (31, 41) and a second, upper portion (3S, 4S), a roof (5) which is movable relative to the base between a raised position (A) where access by mechanical waste handling means is allowed, and a lowered position (B), where, together with the base (2) and the first, lower load-bearing portion (31, 41) of the side walls (3, 4), it forms a waste containment space (6).
An anaerobic digester (1) consisting of a containing structure (2) defining a housing chamber (3) therein for the biomass to be treated and wherein an opening (4) is obtained for the inlet and outlet of the biomass, which opening can be closed by a door (5), and a mobile false ceiling (10) placed inside the housing chamber (3) which can be moved by operating means (11) between a raised position and a lowered position.
