Abstract

A device (1) for extracting the solid particles from the exhaust gas of a heat engine (30) equipped with a fresh air intake circuit (32), said device (1), arranged downstream from the collector (31) collecting exhaust gas from the heat engine (30), comprising a turbine (2), a chamber (4) forming a buffer zone for controlling the flow of exhaust gas, and at least one centrifugation chamber (5) equipped with a rotor (6) and a particle collector (7), the rotor (6) of the centrifugation chamber (5) being coupled with the shaft of the turbine (2) arranged upstream from the centrifugation chamber (5) and from the chamber (4) forming a buffer zone, in order to cause the rotation of the rotor (6) of the centrifugation chamber (5) and the separation of the particles from the gas flow. The device (1) comprises, downstream from the centrifugation chamber (5), an exhaust gas recirculation circuit (8) which can be connected to the fresh air intake circuit (32) of the heat engine (30), said recirculation circuit (8) being equipped with cooling means (9).

Abstract

A facility for producing and treating smoke comprising at least: -a smoke generator (1) comprising a burner (2), a combustion chamber (3) comprising at least one combustion furnace (31), and an outlet (32) for discharging the smoke, -a containment enclosure (4) for the smoke produced by the smoke generator (1), said enclosure (4) comprising an inlet (41) linked to the outlet (32) for discharging smoke from the combustion chamber (3) and an outlet (42) linked to the smoke generator (1) by a smoke recirculation circuit (5) of which the opening in the combustion chamber (3) is referred to as the smoke supply head (6). The combustion chamber (3) comprises a screen (7) for protecting the supply head (6) from the burner flame (2), interposed between the combustion furnace (31) and the smoke supply head (6), the inlet (41) for smoke into the containment enclosure (4) is disposed in the upper third of said enclosure (4) and the containment enclosure (4) is provided with a closable outlet (43) for discharging condensates with controlled opening/closing.
