The rail receiving bracket and the ceiling grid lock are configured to couple together without requiring additional components or fasteners. The ceiling grid lock is configured to couple to a portion of a ceiling grid by positioning the ceiling grid portion in a gap between the engagement arms and rotating the ceiling grid lock to position the ceiling grid portion in the receiving slot.

Embodiments of an expansion joint are provided. The expansion joint is configured to cover a gap between a first architectural surface and a second architectural surface. The expansion joint includes a panel, subframe, first mounting joint, and a second mounting joint. The second mounting joint includes a coupling member, mounting frame, and clamping arm, each, respectively, being continuous and integrally formed components. The second mounting joint releasably attaches the expansion joint to the second architectural surface. In this way, the expansion joint can be easily removed from the second architectural surface. The expansion joint may also include a slide assembly capable of moving laterally within the subframe and/or an extension arm configured to extend the subframe of the expansion joint to keep the panel from dislodging from the architectural surfaces in response to seismic activity and/or other large expansions or contractions between architectural gaps.

Abstract

An elastic seal for a building joint which includes internal walls or dividers which change orientation when the seal is compressed for placement into the building joint. The change in orientation allow for the seal to apply a relatively uniform force against the joint walls extending from the bottom wall to the top wall of the seal. Additionally, the change in orientation reduces the deflection of the top wall of the seal upwardly when compressed in the building joint. The walls also become more vertically oriented when the seal in compressed. This vertical orientation provides increased load support for the top wall when the seal is compressed into a joint.

The composition includes a biopolymer in combination with PETG as well as a modifier. The biopolymer and modifier are preferably produced from an annually renewable source such as corn or sugar as opposed to traditionally used petroleum based plastics. In this manner, the composition of the invention is relatively environmentally friendly as compared to known compositions while maintaining many of the desirable qualities thereof. In addition, the production of the articles of manufacture results in the consumption of fewer fossil fuels and less production of pollutants.

This disclosure is concerned with a readily changeable sign display system which facilitates easy alteration of the sign indicia displayed but is also resistant to unauthorized tampering so that it can be deployed where it is not under continuous surveillance when exposed to the general public. It comprises vertical frame members which provide tracks for the insertion of horizontal frame members. In some embodiments the vertical frame members are joined to each other with a backing member while in other embodiments intermediate channel members are placed between the vertical frame members and adjacent members are joined by a backing member. The horizontal frame members carry grooves for the insertion of sign panels which carry indicia. The tracks for the horizontal frame members carry removable obstructions which hold these members in the tracks. The obstructions at the upper end of the tracks are readily removable.

The present disclosure is concerned with an improved latching mechanism for the hinged section of a ceiling track for traveling curtain. The latching mechanism is designed to make a readily audible sound when it is locked. It is based upon a generally oval shaped lock knob which passes through a generally oval shaped aperture in the bottom wall of a receiver for the lock knob. The aperture is designed so that when the lock knob is rotated its long axis no longer aligns with the long axis of the aperture it can no longer pass through the aperture. The bottom wall of the receiver carries two upwardly extending side walls that must be pushed outward to allow the passage of the lock knob as it rotates and that carry gaps that accommodate the tips of the lock knob and allow the side walls to move back toward their undeformed position.
