The invention relates to a display case for gems, comprising two prismatic blocks (1 and 2) which are preferably made from methacrylate or another transparent material. One of the aforementioned blocks (1) serves as a container which is equipped with one or more housings (3) for the gems, while the other block (2) serves as a lid which is fixed to the body (1) using at least two pairs of permanent magnets (4-5). In this way, the gems in the case remain perfectly stable, are protected and can be seen from the exterior without having to open the case. According to the invention, the quick-actuating closure means are secure and effective.

Abstract

The invention relates to a capsule and elements for synthesised diamond production. According to the invention, the capsule comprises a vertical gradient that is favourable to diamond growth, prevailing over any radial gradient, by means of heating discs which are disposed at the ends of the heating zone, with the growth conditions being carefully controlled. More specifically, control of growth rate enables improved quality control in large crystals. Another important novel characteristic of the invention lies in the use of a carbon source having a special design that is formed by cylindrical and conical voids (graphite, amorphous carbon, diamond or other) with a solvent metal with a number of gases which are introduced into the capsule. In addition, a nitrogen sensor is used to prevent the formation of nitrides, carbides and oxides which are detrimental to growth and said sensor is novelly positioned outside of the reaction zone.
