Abstract

The present invention relates to a trolley apparatus (300) for transporting at least one growth tray (104) within a vertical growth system. The trolley apparatus (300) comprises: a platform (302) for receiving a growth tray (104) and a support frame (310) arranged to at least partially bear a weight of the platform and growth tray. The platform (302) is slidably mounted on the support frame to enable linear movement between the platform and support frame along a first axis. The trolley apparatus further comprises a retention mechanism configured to, when engaged, retain the platform at a first position with respect to the support frame along the first axis.
