Abstract

In order that an agriculturally active ingredient, particularly a water-insoluble or water-hardly soluble agriculturally active ingredient sufficiently exerts its effects, it is used preferably in the form of an agricultural formulation having the agriculturally active ingredient dissolved, particularly a clear agricultural formulation having not only the agriculturally active ingredient but also other components contained in the agricultural formulation dissolved. When the agricultural formulation is practically used, if foaming when diluted with water is intense, foam may overflow from a tank in which the solution is prepared. A clear agricultural formulation having the agriculturally active ingredient dissolved and further other components contained in the agricultural formulation dissolved, and its foaming when diluted with water suppressed, is required. An agricultural formulation includes an agriculturally active ingredient (a), a surfactant (b), a silicone compound (c) represented by formula (I) and an organic solvent (d), wherein (a), (b) and (c) are dissolved in (d).

Abstract

Provided are: coated flaky titanic acid particles, which can form a design coating film with a good silky texture and shadowed appearance when flaky titanic acid is applied to an organic solvent-based paint and, which can also sufficiently suppress discoloration (yellowing) of the coating film even in a relatively severe environment, such as prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light; and a production method therefor. The surface of the flaky titanic acid particles has an oxide and/or hydroxide of aluminum, and an anionic surfactant present thereon. Preferably, the anionic surfactant is a hydrocarbon-based anionic surfactant having 5 or more carbon atoms in the main chain or a fluorinated anionic surfactant having 4 or more carbon atoms. Said production method comprises: a step for maintaining an aqueous slurry, which contains flaky titanic acid particles and an aluminum source, at a temperature of 50-95°C inclusive and at a pH of 5-12 inclusive to treat the surface of the flaky titanic acid particles with an oxide and/or hydroxide of aluminum; and a subsequent step for mixing the obtained flaky titanic acid and an anionic surfactant in a solution.

Abstract

22 grade titanium concentrate by removing impurities such as iron and silica components from a titanium-containing iron ore or similar material. This method performs silica removal treatment by mixing a fluorine additive into a slurry that performs mineral acid leaching of a titanium-containing iron ore or analogue thereof, and/or a slurry that contains the leachate obtained by mineral acid leaching, and subsequently recovering alkali metal fluoride from the separation liquid obtained by solid-liquid separation, characterized by involving (1) a first stage reaction in which hexafluorosilicic acid contained in the separation liquid is reacted with an alkali metal hydroxide, precipitating a hexafluorosilicic acid alkali metal salt, and (2) a second stage reaction in which said precipitate is further reacted with the alkali metal hydroxide to generate an alkali metal fluoride.

Abstract

The present invention manufactures titanium oxide particles that have a small degree of aggregation (size of aggregate particle diameter relative to primary particle diameter) and are not readily sintered by heating. The present invention has: a step in which an alkali and a solution including a carboxylic acid and a titanium (oxy)chloride are mixed, and the titanium (oxy)chloride is hydrolyzed by neutralization; and a step in which, after the hydrolysis by neutralization, the solution is heated to a temperature of 80° C. or more and 110° C. or less, and the titanium (oxy)chloride remaining in the solution is hydrolyzed by heating. It is thus possible to obtain titanium oxide particles that have a small degree of aggregation and a range of 1-35 for the ratio (D90/BET diameter) between the 90% cumulative mass particle size distribution diameter (D90) (nm) as measured by a dynamic light-scattering particle diameter distribution measurement device and the BET diameter (nm) as calculated from the specific surface area of the titanium oxide particles.
