An animatronic doll is disclosed. The doll, includes multiple sensors, one or more of which receives input which causes the doll to perform various functions such as moving, vibrating, playing music, eating, interacting with a mobile app or interacting with another doll. The doll also includes various modes which may be effected or selected based on input from one or more sensors. One of the sensors may include an rfid reader which reads cards that instruct the doll to emulate a particula emotion.

A selectively removable skin for a doll is provided. The skin may include a plush material which has at least one seam. The shape of the material may be essentially the same shape as the doll and be configured to fit snuggly on the doll so that if the doll moves, the skin does not shift on the doll. There may be an the opening which may be slectively closed by a fastener. There may also be at least one elastic portion coinciding with the neck of the doll. There may also be a locking mechanism that selectively secures the skin to the doll.

Abstract
A method for payment of a benefit to a survivor of a subsequent medical condition. Initial and subsequent information about a person is received, the information concerning at least one specified medical condition. The initial information is inspected to determine the state of health of the person, the state of health not being acceptable if the specified medical condition is present. If the state of health of the person is acceptable then the person is approved for payment of a specified benefit if the specified medical condition is later present. Subsequent information about the person is inspected to determine the state of health of the person, the state of health being changed if the predetermined medical condition is later present. The specified benefit is then paid if the state of health of the person has changed.

Subscribers are notified of selected incoming events, such as fax or a memo. Subscriber profiles, stored in a database, contain data concerning at least one specified event of which a subscriber wishes to be notified and a procedure by which the subscriber prefers to be notified. When an incoming event occurs (200) data is extracted (205) from the incoming event and the database is queried (210) using the extracted data to identify at least one subscriber whose subscriber profile includes at least one item of the extracted data and the procedure by which the identified subscriber prefers to be notified (215) of the incoming event. An event notification is then prepared (220) for the incoming event in accordance with the determined procedure for the identified subscriber and the event notification is sent (225) to the identified subscriber in accordance with the determined procedure.
