Abstract
[PROBLEMS] To provide an apparatus for producing a soft ice drink by which the amount of an ice powder per serving can be easily varied and an ice powder having the most suitable qualities can be obtained regardless of the amount of the ice powder per serving so that consumers can fully enjoy the smooth texture, i.e., the advantage inherent to soft ice drinks. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An apparatus for producing a soft ice drink that is provided with an ice-shaving unit comprising an ice shaving chamber (12), a shaving blade-attaching unit (31) by which the stick-out of a shaving blade (18) from a slit (12c) is controlled, a rotating blade (16) for rotating ice in the ice shaving chamber (12), and a first driving motor (15). Further, a mixing unit comprising a rotating blade (22) for shaving and agitating the ice powder in a receiver (21) and a second driving motor (26) is provided. Furthermore, a microcomputer (50) having a built-in controlling program for controlling the first driving motor (15) and the second driving motor (26) is provided. Moreover, a rotary switch (RG1) whereby the driving time of the first driving motor (15) in the controlling program can be manually altered is provided.

Abstract
[PROBLEMS] To provide a cutting blade-fitting device in which the projected height of the edge of a cutting blade can be easily judged from the outside, whereby the cut ices of proper particle sizes can be made with no need for much labor and long time and without waste use of ices. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] An arm (4) is provided in proximity to a slit (3a) for discharging the cut ices. The arm (4) pivotally supports a blade-fitting tool (5). A through hole (5c) is formed in the blade-fitting tool (5), an adjusting male screw (8) is inserted into the through hole, and a coil spring (10) is externally inserted. A shaft female screw (9a) is screwed with the adjusting male screw (8). The swing angle of the blade-fitting tool (5) is changed by the rotating motion of an adjusting shaft (9), whereby the projected height of the edge of the cutting blade (6) is adjusted. The pitches of the adjusting male screw (8) and the shaft female screw (9a) are respectively so set that the moving distance required for adjusting the cutting blade (6) can be kept within one rotation. A stopper mechanism (screws (15), a stopper (18)) is provided for the purpose of preventing the adjusting shaft (9) from being rotated beyond one time.

Abstract
[PROBLEMS] To provide a low noise ice shaving machine which can produce a large quantity of powder of shaved ice without taking much labor. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The ice shaving machine has an ice shaving chamber provided with a slit from which a cutting blade is exposed, a rotary blade for rotating ice placed in the ice shaving chamber, a motor mechanism for rotating the rotary blade, a rotary hopper for containing the ice in the ice shaving chamber and rotating coaxially and together with the rotary blade, and an ice stocker provided above the rotary hopper and having openings at its upper and lower ends. The diameter of the rotary hopper is gradually reduced upward. The ice stocker rotates coaxially and together with the rotary blade and the rotary hopper.
