The present disclosure is achieved by a multilayer tube which includes a main component, a polytetrafluoroethylene, wherein if the total porosity (%) of the tube is plotted on the horizontal axis of a coordinate graph and the Martens hardness HM3mN of the tube as described below is plotted on the vertical axis, coordinate points representing characteristics of the multilayer tube are within a quadrangle that is bounded by four coordinate points, namely a (7.5, 0.25), b (8, 0.02), c (25, 0.38) and d (25, 0.03) on the graph. Meanwhile, HM3mN represents the Martens hardness at the time when the test force reaches 3 mN during the process of load application, with the maximum test force being set to 4 mN, if the inner surface of the tube is measured in accordance with ISO 14577.

The present invention relates to a tube having one or more layers made of polytetrafluoroethylene, and addresses the problem of providing a tube having controlled flexibility while maintaining high mechanical strength. The problem can be suitably solved by a tube having one or more layers formed by winding a PTFE film in a helical shape. The tube has an endothermic peak in the range of 380°C ± 10°C when heated during DSC measurement. In one or more of the layers, the number of turns per 10 mm length in the longitudinal direction is not uniform.

Abstract

[Problem] To provide a tube with excellent long-term reliability. [Solution] Provided is a tube to be used in a pump for peristaltic transportation of a fluid, the tube comprising: a flow passage that serves as a transport route for the fluid and that extends in a first direction; and a body part that is formed around the flow passage. The body part includes a first layer formed on the flow passage and a second layer formed on the first layer. The bending elastic modulus in the radial direction of the second layer is less than the bending elastic modulus in the radial direction of the first layer. When an elastic modulus ratio R1 of the first layer is the tensile elastic modulus in the circumferential direction of the first layer/the bending elastic modulus in the radial direction of the first layer, and an elastic modulus ratio R2 of the second layer is the tensile elastic modulus in the circumferential direction of the second layer/the bending elastic modulus in the radial direction of the second layer, the elastic modulus ratio R2 of the second layer is greater than the elastic modulus ratio R1 of the first layer.

Abstract

[Problem] To provide an emulsifying nozzle which stably ejects one of the liquid phases for a two-liquid-phase system as highly dispersible droplets while suppressing the coalescence of the droplets with one another and is configured such that accumulation of minute solid components does not occur readily. [Solution] By using a nozzle having a structure formed by assembling fine tubes or fine holes as the emulsifying nozzle, accumulation of minute solid components does not occur readily inside the nozzle. In addition, by using a structure formed by assembling fine tubes or fine holes which have been formed using a suitable material which is hydrophobic or organophobic or a material on which suitable surface treatment has been applied, one of the liquid phases for a two-liquid-phase system can be stably ejected as highly dispersible droplets into the other liquid phase while coalescence of the droplets with one another is suppressed.

The present invention relates to a coaxial cable, and particularly to a small-diameter coaxial cable for use in frequency bands of 100 MHz or more. The present invention addresses the problem of providing a coaxial cable which has excellent flexibility, a small outer diameter, and excellent shield characteristics. The problem is solved by a coaxial cable having an outer conductor which is formed by mixing and laterally winding strands in the same direction, the strands having an outer diameter difference of not less than 10% between a strand having a maximum outer diameter (large-diameter strand) and a strand having a minimum outer diameter (small-diameter strand).

[Solution] The multi-core cable 1 comprises n conductor bundles 10 to 40. Each of the n conductor bundles 10 to 40 has at least one insulated conductor 11 to 13 and at least one non-insulated conductor 14. The frequency of occurrence of an identical surface in a cross section perpendicular to the length direction is AF(N) (N = 1 to n) per unit length, at least one AF(N) (N = 1 to n) being different from the others. The ratio of the number of insulated conductors to the number of non-insulated conductors in each of the n conductor bundles is in the range of 2:3 to 4:1. A non-insulated conductor to be paired with an insulated conductor is not fixed, and each insulated conductor becomes paired with a non-insulated conductor from the same conductor bundle and/or a non-insulated conductor from a different conductor bundle.

Abstract

A pipe joint includes a joint main body, a cap nut, a sleeve, an insertion groove between a pipe body mounting section and an external thread section of the joint main body, and an elastic member disposed in the insertion groove. When the external thread section and an internal thread section of the cap nut are screwed, the end face of the distal end side of the sleeve comes into contact with one end face of the elastic member to compress the elastic member, and the elastic member presses, with a self-repulsion force, the end face of the distal end side of the sleeve in the axial direction. Then, an inner circumferential surface of a proximal end side of the sleeve compresses the pipe body in a radial direction of the pipe body through a reaction force received from a fitting surface of the cap nut.

Abstract

[Problem] To provide a tube which can effectively protect a fluid inside the tube from the influences of ultraviolet rays and through which the fluid can be viewed from outside. [Solution] A tube comprising an ultraviolet-shielding layer formed from a resin composition which contains, dispersed therein, a yellow organic pigment and an ultraviolet absorber comprising an inorganic compound. The organic pigment and the ultraviolet absorber in the resin composition have been dispersed so that the concentrations thereof each have a standard deviation (σ) of 0.02% or less. The tube has a light transmittance at wavelength 350 nm of 4-14% and a light transmittance at wavelength 400 nm of 5-19%, in terms of the light transmittance of a 10-fold diluted film of the same thickness.

Abstract

[Problem] To provide a fluororesin tube having excellent characteristics such as the heat resistance, weather resistance, chemical resistance, peeling properties, and low dielectric properties that are specific to fluororesins in addition to having an inner surface that has high adhesiveness with respect to various materials, especially silicone rubber. [Solution] A fluororesin tube in which vinylalkoxysilane is introduced into a plasma excitation gas, the inner surface of the tube is subjected to plasma treatment, and the arithmetic average roughness Ra of the inner surface of the tube that has been subjected to plasma treatment and the average length RSm of a roughness curve element satisfy Ra < 0.08 µm and RSm < 25 µm.
