Shaft Grounding Ring and Method for Production Thereof
A method for producing a shaft grounding ring includes providing a shaft grounding ring having an annular main body and contact elements arranged on the main body. The contact elements are electrically conductive and plastic-based. The contact elements are configured to establish an electrically conductive sliding contact with a circumferential surface of a shaft or of a sleeve placed onto the shaft. The contact elements are elastically bendable such that the contact elements are configured to preload the electrically conductive sliding contact. Additionally, the method includes thermally preconditioning the shaft grounding ring before use.

The present invention relates to a flat gasket which is to tightly connect two housing parts, which form a housing, to each other with the interposition of the flat gasket. The flat gasket is intended to ensure that medium from the housing does not pass to the outside or medium, such as water, does not pass from the outside into the housing. To achieve the sealing, the flat gasket is elastically deformed between sealing webs of the housing parts when the two housing parts are screwed together at screw connection points. It has been shown that a reliable seal is not always ensured over the length of the flat gasket. Regions occur in which the elastic deformation of the flat gasket between the housing parts is not sufficiently high or elastic deformation of the flat gasket does not occur at all. This has the result that there is insufficient sealing in these regions, and therefore corresponding medium can pass from the inside to the outside or from the outside to the inside. The embodiment of the flat gasket can be described having a main body (8), which is provided on at least one, preferably on both outer sides (9, 10), with protruding ribs (16, 19, 21, 22, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 33) which are provided over the circumference of the flat gasket (3) and form a profile structure (15).
The sealing arrangement can be a mechanical face seal or a lip seal and has at least one sealing element (2) retained by at least one retaining element (20) that has an air-side and/or medium-side exterior. The exterior is provided with an air-tight and/or medium-tight complete or at least partial protective layer (45). This layer prevents a premature failure of the sealing arrangement as a result of a chemical attack.

A shaft seal, in particular a radial shaft seal, has a seal element that is provided with a seal section that under elastic deformation contacts the outer side of a mounting sleeve. The shaft seal has a grease ring located on the mounting sleeve wherein the grease ring is arranged axially adjacent to the free end of the seal section on the mounting sleeve. For installation, grease ring and seal section are pushed by a mounting tool onto the shaft and the seal section on the shaft is pushed onto the grease ring in such a way that the grease of the grease ring is distributed between the seal section and the shaft.

A counter ring is disposed in the housing and fixedly connected to the sleeve. A slide ring is disposed in the housing and interacts with the counter ring. At least one inlet conduit communicating with the collecting space is provided. The at least one inlet conduit is positioned between a radial bottom of the housing and a radial ring segment of the sleeve.
A venting valve has a securing part and a valve body connected to the securing part and provided with at least one venting slot. A closure tension acts on the venting slot and is caused by a force generated within the venting valve after mounting. The venting valve is made of a unitary elastomer material.
The axial face seal has a slide ring (6), which is in contact with a counter ring (7) under spring force, forming a sealing gap (30), and together with the counter ring (7) borders an annular space (8) on the outside radially. It is situated between the sliding partners (6, 7) and a machine element to be sealed. A receiving space (31) is provided on the side facing away from the slide ring (6) in front of the counter ring (7). Due to the high operating temperatures, deposits of the oil-gas sealing mixture occur in the area around the sealing gap (30), leading to increased leakage of the oil-gas sealing mixture during the cooling phase when the compressor is at a standstill. In order to minimize leakage when the unit is shut down, the receiving space (31) is sealed with respect to the annular space (8). Therefore, the coal deposits from the annular space (8) are removed toward the outside and do not enter the receiving space (31). The axial face seal is used with CO2 compressors in particular.
The invention relates to a turbocharger (15) comprising a bearing housing (7) which mounts a rotor shaft (12) and has a bearing-housing oil space (13); comprising a compressor housing which is connected to the bearing housing (7) and has a compressor space (14); and comprising a sealing device (20) which is provided for sealing the bearing-housing oil space (13) relative to the compressor space (14) and which has a sealing ring (1) which is arranged in a fixed position in the bearing housing (7) and has two end faces (17, 17′) which interact with associated end faces (10) and (11) of a disc (9) and a sealing bush (16) which are fastened to the rotor shaft (12), wherein the sealing ring (1) is arranged with axial play on the rotor shaft (12) between the disc (9) and the sealing bush (16); and air-delivery devices (2, 3) oriented in opposition are arranged in the end faces (17, 17′) of the sealing ring (1).
