SUBLIMATING DYE INK FOR INK JETS AND DYEING METHOD
This sublimating dye ink for ink jets contains water, a sublimating dye, a moisturizing agent, and an anionic polymer dispersant. The anionic polymer dispersant is a stryrene-(meth) acrylate-based copolymer having an acid value of 160-250 mgKOH/g and a weight-average molecular weight of 8,000-20,000, and contains an acetylene glycol-based compound indicated by chemical formula (I), as a penetration agent. In this sublimation transfer dyeing method, ink jet printing using said ink is performed on a sheet-shaped recording medium, then the printing surface of the recording medium is superposed on the dyeing target and heated, and the sublimating dye is sublimation-transferred to the dyeing target object.
